New Girl From Florida

Hi everybody! I''m the new girl.

My name is Julie, but nearly everyone calls me Ivy so that will do.


I LOVED Disney as a kid, and just this year re-discovered that love. I found myself going to the P&P Party TWICE.....mostly because I have what I fondly call POCD {Pirate obsessive compulsive disorder} as you can probably tell. No joke, it borders on neurosis.

I have started collecting pins, nearly gone through two autograph books and have started remembering all my fave Disney memories. Such as telling my Mom I thought the Evil Queen was prettier/better than Snow White, or the fact that Captain Hook was my first crush and at age 10 my parents took me to Disney, only to panic when they turned around and couldn't find me. They found me, hugging Captain Hook's LEG...lol! I also remember POTC being the first Disney ride I went on, still my favorite to this day. I have started building new memories, including my adventures at P&P and look forward to getting to know people here. I'm a 20-something btw and I live in New Smyrna Beach. I have lurked for a bit, but everyone seems so nice I figured I'd just join!

Thanks guys. Everyone here is so nice. It's awesome to come to a forum like this. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I can't wait to start poking around and posting. I lurked on some Disney forums and this one is by far and away the best IMO. Yay villains indeed! Always liked the villains best, and yay for FL people as well, hopefully in my many trips to Disney I will get to meet some of you.
