Let's reminisce about what was good, bad, and not so ugly about- Back in my day. How long will this thread go, only time will tell. Have fun! 
Back in my day, I had to use a hand crank pencil sharpener at school. They were made of metal and you had to hand crank the handle so the metal gears would 'sharpen' the pencil inside . My favorite thing to do was to sharpen my pencil to the closest part of the eraser so it created the smallest pencil possible.
