After 3 nights in a noisy studio (our neighbors had a young boy who chose to use his "outside voice" every morning at 6am, not sure why they bothered scheduling that 6:30 am wakeup call every day) we spent 6 wonderful and very quiet nights in the perfect one bedroom (room 4119).

It was so quiet we never heard any neighbors or hallway noise, we could sit on the balcony and see the Eiffel Tower (and so, Illuminations the one night it happened at 11:45), and we were just one door down from the express stairway to the bus stop...we use this stairway to get to Epcot, too....out the door and down those outside stairs, and you're on the Boardwalk and almost to Epcot.

And, I never noticed how many different types of balconies BWV has. Our studio had a little enclosed balcony, this one was wide open, and being on the top floor, felt so spacious. All this, and for std view points, too! We loved it!

Sounds wonderful! So glad you had a great room for the rest of your trip! :)

Yes, that is my favorite standard view area, too - for all the reasons you mentioned. Although it is possible to have noisy neighbors no matter where you are located, if you are in a dedicated 1 bedroom and near the end of hallway, the chance of noise really diminishes.

In general, I do not like to be close to the elevators - the closer you are, the more hallway noise you hear and there czn be a lot of it! It's mostly children running and talking/laughing. They don't bother me as much as the parents trying to "shush" them, though. :teeth: Worst of all are the loud adults who stumble back after midnight - I wonder where they've been? ;);)

I will be at the BWV for the first time 12/11 to 12/15, I sure hope I have a wonderful room like you are discribing. I am soooo looking forward to my first time at that resort. I will let everyone know how my stay is when I return.

Our last visit was in 1119, a ground floor room, in October. Like you we loved the location and it was so quiet! I have never wanted ground floor in the past, but this was very nice. The view was also much better then I expected and the quick access to the quiet pool and parking lot was a great bonus.

We stayed down at the end of another hall just a month ago. We were facing the Swan & Dolphin (also could see the Tower of Terror). Although far from the lobby, we also were right near a staircase and shot down those stairs and came out with an easy walk to the boardwalk (down by the Atlantic Dance Hall).

We really enjoyed BWV - location is great!

I stayed in room 3119 this past October. The view was okay until the fireworks started at EPCOT. Then the view was spectacular. :) This is a great room location for standard view points!
