Just a thought. I've rode both rides a total of 146 times. I've received 20 sword in stone pins, none of which where wins. That's a total of 1460 credits. At this rate if I ever win the Mad Hatter Pin it will be the most expensive pin ever.

Please share your thoughts.

I wonder if combining the sword pins will help?

It's been an idea I've had since winning five of them and each one wasn't strong enough.

I don't think you can combine any single use magic pin.

No, its not possible to combine them, I remember now that someone else on a thread had said about combining single use magic keys and its not possible, sorry.

You've never been able to combine Single Use Magic pins before, so I doubt you can with this one (though I haven't actually checked).

For the record I've taken 185 rides, received 19 sword pins, and zero Tea Party pins.

I have ridden 46 times and have never gotten any pin
or anything except knowing that i just wasted a ton of credits just to ride a ride over and over again and get nothing from it...

I spent about 10,000 credits on around 1000 rides and obtained roughly 50 magic pins all yeilding nothing. So yes it is the most expensive pin...on a random basis however because some people rode it 5 times and got a pin and drew the sword and I have seen players with many. On the up side my DW put me on the ride while I was at work after writing off the 10K and prepairing to trade, she managed to win me a pin in a few hours riding.

On my main character I have ridden like 25 times and still never received a magic pin. On another character the following happened:
Rode 9 times, got a sword magic, did not win anything.
Rode 9 times, got a sword magic, did not win anything.
Rode 9 times, got a sword magic, did not win anything.
Rode 6 times, got a sword magic, won Mad Team Party Pin.

You cannot combine the magic pins or trade them.

Here are some hints to maybe winning a Tea Party Pin:

I used 3 mules running constantly through the pan ride over and over. The pan ride takes less time and using the same ride did'nt bog down my computer much.
I sent mine through at different times so I did'nt actually have to watch the ride over and over, so I was mostly at the start sending the next person through.

When you win a magic pin just wear it and keep riding, stock up on pins. I would say keep riding until you get sick of doing it, than take all your peeps and line them up by the same stone in one room. Than start pulling, I did 8 in a row and still lost so who knows what the magic number is.

But I have also won 2 pins so far!

I, too, am one of those who have riden again and again and again.. to no Tea Cup pin. But I saw someone who couldn't figure out how to use her magic sword pin, so I explained how, she went over to the sword and won!! Glad for her, sad for me..

I'm glad to hear that you finally got your pin add! I was beginning to get a little worried seeing you on that pan ride all the time!

i'v only taken around 20 rides won 3 magic pins but wasn't strong enough to pull out the sword, maybe i should start eating Wheaties the breakfast of champions instead of Fruit Loops.

I haven't kept an exact count, but I'd say I've taken about 300 rides since the rides opened, getting 14 SitS Magic Pins in the process. I initially rode the rides about equally. After about a week, I had only received pins from Pan, so I focussed on that ride (with an occassional foray into Alice territory for variety).

It's incredibly random. Once I got two pins in a row -- then nothing for the next 30+ rides. Last night, I started out and ended up getting 4 pins in only 18 rides (3 from Pan, 1 from Alice). And -- finally! -- the second one proved to be a winner!


Since the rides seemed to be spitting out the pins and I was feeling flushed with success, I must've rode at least another 30 times after that. Didn't get another single pin....
