New fantasyland restaurants.....

Ok so We are going the end of October and was wondering if the new restaurants in Fantasyland will be opened.. I know there will be Gastons and Be Our Guest. All the blogs say opening late 2012. But no description of what types of food or what type of restaurant Gastons is... Does anyone here know? I know it is too early to make ADRs but it IS fun to plan..TIA..Julie

We are hoping they open in early August because our DD(17) is a HUGE Belle fan. We have heard all kinds of rumors from early summer to late fall. I know Disney will open it as soon as it's ready. Just keep checking back! *holding breath and crossing fingers*

all i know is Gastons is supposed to be QS, whereas Belle's is TS.

We are also going in October and are hoping to get to go...I read the table service will be in the evening and the QS will be during the day...I sure hope they do open soon!!!

No news on when it will be open, but according to the The Complete WDW 2012:

"Set within the Beast's castle, the 550-seat Be Our Guest Restaurant will serve fast-food lunches, and full-service dinners in the ballroom, gallery, and West Wing. Details may include stained glaass windows that come to life; characters may include Lumiere the candlestick, chatting with diners from atop a serving cart. Nearby, Gaston's Tavern will serve mainly fast-food and perhaps non-alcoholic beer."

We'll be going in July but even IF they are open, I don't expect to be able to get anywhere near them.
