anything about scooters/wheelchairs? These have to be returned when you leave the park. can you leave them at the bus stop and get a new one at the new park? And does anyone know where the pickup slots are? I.E. how far do you have to walk? if anyone knows and chance of a screenshot showing where? :)
Pickup and drop off spots are included in the first post

I know that AP holders can get a 7 day pass. However, if we are staying on site for 9 nights, do we really have to buy the multiday pass twice?

I agree that the price seems so low that the busses may be over sold. We plan on returning to WDW in May so I hope this works out well so we can use it.

Do you necessarily park to park hop every day of a trip? I'd probably start my 7 days in Day 3, since I'm most likely to have a 4-park day at the end of a trip.
The 1st 2 days, I would try to only "hop" after a resort pool break... or use the somewhat better free options like the DHS to EPCOT boats or the Monorail MK to EPCOT

My opinion: I think AP holders with a resort reservation should be allowed to pay the $24 multiday fee. If that was the case, I could possibly give the mouse a little more money. Im headed down Dec 12-16 and staying on property. Ill see what I can find out.

OR they could add an optional "Annual Pass Express Transportation" add on for the duration of the pass but I would hazard to guess that it would be a bit more than $24.

I have a 5 day trip coming up next week. We buy park hoppers every trip as we usually hop to another park for our ADR (mostly to Epcot). We also switch to another park due to crowds. I do however hate the time it takes to get to another park. I plan on taking advantage of this new option. I have a lot planned as I have never been at Christmas time and there are so many things to see. To be able to avoid walking to the front of the park, waiting for a bus, going through security and the turnstiles at the next park saves a lot of time and really makes the park hoppers worth the cost for us.

We do park hop everyday. A few years ago we would take afternoon breaks but we found that it is too hard to get my son out of the pool and back to the parks. Now we just park hop after lunch and finish our day around 5-6 pm at the hotel pool. I really hope that AP passholders can get a length of stay benefit as everyone else does.

I hear you. We stay onsite for one long 17 day trip each year. If park hopper tickets gets you 10 days of express transportation, then I would like the same benefit as an AP holder - not 7 days.

I would love this if it stayed at this price for AP holders. We tend to do split stays just to avoid as much transportation as possible. It not the buses themselves but the walking from park to bus and then the waiting. We didn't even go to AK last trip because we were renting a wheelchair from the park and the walk from the bus to the front gate is roughly 17 miles. Also not having to go thru security over and over is a biggie. If this is the same by May, we (having AP) might take the baby and stroller/ baby stuff with us and let DS and rest of the family meet us at the next park. Paying 48 for us for a week is ok. Spending $15 a day times 3 times 7 days for them is too much. Or am I reading it right???? Is the multday only for AP or is it for everyone?

But I'm afraid like the dessert party at MK, when it started it was under $20 bucks, now it's $60 something.

Everyone.

This feature will be available when purchasing Park Hopper tickets online or upgrading at Vacation Planning or Guest Relations. For single-day service, Express Transportation can be added onto a Park Hopper ticket for $15 per person. For multi-day service, it is $24 per person.

Been away for a day and come back to see this, so awesome! Can't wait to add this on to our tickets.
First WDW vacation, and during Christmas week, this sounds like a very good use of $3/day per person. We have several days with breakfast and dinner reservations in diff parks, sounds like this is going to make that a lot easier.

So, going in Feb, President's weekend and Princess Marathon weekend. Split stay BVC and CR. This sounds perfect! We're already majorly parkhopping to hit the new Epcot Art Festival (that ends our first weekend there), *hopefully* SW at HS and Fantasmic, and maybe, if the planets align, ROL, so $24/per person to skip security during a very busy week when we're hopping for shows sounds great to me!

I'm going in January we have 7day park hopper staying at Boardwalk so this could be worth it...I'm looking forward to hear people's experience with the service. I see value for those staying at a Epcot resort.

Will these busses be able to handle ecvs? We may consider this for our trip next week. We aren't planning to do much hopping, but that's because of the hassle.

We just returned from a 15-Nite , 16-Day Stay @ WDW.
We would have LOVED this CHEAP!!!!
Service @ $24 for us as AP Holders,
OR EVEN @ 2X $24 for 14 Days!!!

WHY?!
We Park-Hopped a Number of Days;
We had to Spend the time
Walking from the Kilimanjaro Safaris
TO the front of the Park,
TO the AKL Bus( furtherest out!),

THEN hop a Bus @ Jambo House
TO say, Hollywood Studios.

SINCE AKL now has Transportation Boards saying WHEN Buses are to arrive,
we took the bus!

otherwise, we would have taken a
Mears Taxi,
@ around $15 !!!

ALSO,
AK had mandatory Metal Detector Screening FOR ALL Guests !!!
on 4 or 5 of our Days there,
and our First Visit Day( NOT mandatory),
we were chosen!

PLUS we were chosen for Metal Detector Screening @ most other Parks!!

This would have saved us valuable time,
helped my feet out,
saved us Mears Taxi $$,
AND made us feel like VIPs,
TO boot!!!!

I agree that it would have been a great value for two weeks. I would need to pay for the first week and then a couple of extra days. I also agree that this price is very inexpensive. I just want the same price as every other onsite guest as I feel I pay enough for my hotel stay.

However, no need to shout at me. :)

Oh, I wasn't shouting!
nor disagreeing with you!

You are so right about price being the sane!
and also about paying slot for a Romm already!
I agree 100 percent!

We normally can stay on our DVC points;
this Trip we ran out of our Points;

we could only cover 3 Nites w/points;
2 Nites were cash(ouch!!);

10 Nites were gonna be @ FQ,
but we found a 2-Bedroom Condo--
right near the CBR--
for an avearage of only $50 per nite more than FQ.

But with paying $3000 for Rooms,
i hated paying for all the taxis from
the Condo,
and this would have felt like a real Perk for us!

I understand for most,
it may seem like yet another Upsell!

"... Annual Passholders may purchase the single-day service for $15 or the multi-day service for $24 (valid for seven consecutive days from day of sale)."

Meh. We're AP and DVC. We rarely hop park to park without a stop at our hotel in between, so this wouldn't do much for us.

Not to mention that I HATE stuff good for 7 days. We do short running trips (4-5 days max) and a long annual trip (10-12 days). Not ideal for us either way.

Meh.

Yeah... plus the "seven consecutive day" thing is not as reported.
Many here are forgetting the 7 day thing and thing $24 for the length of stay (or entire annual pass).

Personally I don't care one way or the other. However, I do not think may have thought this out.
You may still need to walk almost as far, and wait almost as long for a bus. Perhaps longer if you don't make the first bus??
Yes, you may get off in the park without further security, but it may be in the wrong side of the park.
In addition, there will still be a guest line somewhere...afteralll, they will need to check your status.

Hope it works for you who like it. For me??? Too many trips to count since 1972, and have hopped roughly twice.

MG

Are you staying longer than 7 days?
Annual Passholders may purchase the single-day service for $15 or the multi-day service for $24 (valid for seven consecutive days from day of sale).

Oh thanks for mentioning this! THe post I read didn't say anything about AP holders being able to buy a multi-day option. We would definitely do this! Probably not on our 4 day trip in January, but when we go for a longer trip in March, I'm all over it!
