Our next event will celebrate the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland on September 12, 2005. Pins and other items will be available, so mark your calendar. Watch for more details next week, but here's a hint: it will be a-maze-ing!

How about some guesses as to what you think this might mean??

I don't think we'll see the mansion game until October to coincide with the new lands and Halloween.

As far as I know, the Haunted Mansion game will be available in December of this year. This is also when a new land will open! I can't wait either!

This event sounds very cool. I am curious as to what will be done during it!

Yes, from what I have heard, according to the information shared on the VMK quests, the Haunted Mansion game is scheduled for December 2005.

But hey, last time they threw about all the little clues about "round-up", "rootin' tootin'" and "all duded up", and it had nothing to do with the event OR the costumes...

EDIT: I hope you don't mind ELECTRICLIME, but I clipped this out of your thread about VMK technical information that you somehow decoded LOL (I have no clue what the rest of it meant), but you said that "a bunch of Hong Kong-themed pins and clothing have appeared (six pins and some posters, pullovers, and T-shirts)."

Not sure if anyone has posted this...but we're in for a bit of fun with this weekend. Can you say...actually having to work through a maze to win things? I'm thinking we're definately going to have to have a Dis meet to help each other through the maze...and/or a Dis chat on AIM/Yahoo/MSN/ICQ whatever!

To celebrate the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland on September 12, 2005 VMK will hold a 4-day event. Shops will be stocked with Pins and other special items, and our staff — with the help of some very talented and generous Community Leaders — is working around the clock to create a maze of rooms for you to explore.

The maze will have three levels of difficulty, with different rewards for completing each. You can complete each level as many times as you wish, but to be sure there are enough virtual prizes for everyone, we ask that you limit yourself to one prize per level.

If you reach the end of the maze and a VMK Staff member isn't there, please wait; they might be out looking for a lost explorer!

We want to be sure a staff member is on hand to help find anyone who gets lost (and of course reward everyone who survives it!) so the maze will operate under the following hours (all times are Eastern):

Friday September 9:
Opens at 4:00pm, closes at 7:00pm (last reward given at 7:30pm)
Opens at 9:00pm, closes at 11:00pm (last reward given at 11:30pm)

Saturday September 10:
Opens at Noon, closes at 3:30pm (last reward given at 4:00pm)
Opens at 6:00pm, closes at 9:30pm (last reward given at 10:00pm)

Sunday September 11:
Opens at Noon, closes at 3:30pm (last reward given at 4:00pm)
Opens at 6:00pm, closes at 9:30pm (last reward given at 10:00pm)

Monday September 12:
Opens at 4:00pm, closes at 7:00pm (last reward given at 7:30pm)
Opens at 8:00pm, closes at 10:00pm (last prize rewarded given at 10:30pm)
