Starting January 2007 new travel requirements go into effect for Canadian citizens entering the United States via air. On January 1, 2009 the new requirements extend to ground travel and seaports.
The requirements mandate formal travel documents, in most cases a passport, for all adults and children. Driver's licenses, birth certificates or other forms of personal identification will no longer be valid for entry into the United States. You will also need to provide detailed information about your travel plans, destination and accommodations.
Please plan ahead to ensure that you have the required documents and information for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, adventure at Disneyland Resort or voyage on Disney Cruise Line. Canadian passports generally require at least two to four weeks to acquire.
