New Englanders: What races are you looking to do in the spring?

How far from Boston are you? DD14 has a field hockey tourney at Harvard on 3/7. It would be great to meet you guys somewhere.

Lisa, We are approx 1.5 hrs from Boston- on a good traffic day!

Thanks though.We will have to make sure at some point we do a race together again.

I am going to be doing the Hampton Half (Feb 15) and most likely the Burlington VT Marathon (May 24).

Anyone else doing either of these? I'd love to meet someone at either.

The lottery for the Mt. Washington Road Race is March 1 to March 15. They pick the lucky runners shortly there after. This will be my second year entering the lottery. God I hope they don't pick me!!!

I will have to tell Chad the lottery for that is coming up.
He entered and "won" 6 years ago.
But found out he had cancer / had surgery a couple weeks before and didn't do it.

I don't know that he's brave enough to enter again!

Unfortunately I have to hold off on any distance travel my DH lost his job yesterday.Oh joy!

So I really can't commit to anything right now.It did sound great.I looked it up and was interested, even spoke to Mike about it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's job.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the Run to Remember half in Boston in May and then the BAA half in Boston in October. If you're considering either of those, let me know. It would be fun to meet!
