New England DIS Meet - Sunday, December 5th - AVON! - CHANGED DATE!

Come one, come all!

Jordan's Furniture in Avon has purchased the Enchanted Village. For those who have lived in Massachusetts for quite some time, you may remember it set up in Downtown Boston and then moved to the convention center years ago. JOrdan's purchased the entire village and has spruced it up and put it on display! We will go on 12/5 instead of 12/12 as people are cruising then!


They also have a new ride Polar Express 4D! and have purchased the old Jordan Marsh Blueberry muffin recipe for those who are interested!

We will meet at 10:45 AM in Avon to visit the village, ride the ride, buy a muffin if you like and visit Santa!

After, we will eat lunch nearby in Ikea! (Swedish meatballs anyone?!)

I just got the Jordan's email today Kristin and think it's a great idea. We would definately go if not for being on the Wonder the 12th. Same as Jeff & Val. Yes to the 5th if moved.

We're going to take the kids down on the next Wednesday 1/2 day they have. Maybe it won't be so crowded. I've never seen the Enchanted Village so I'm excited for this and the Polar Express Experience. I still haven't seen the movie in 3D! I may have to get the DVD in 3D!

Ok.. I think we are still in.. I have some friends visiting from Vermont that weekend and this is a great thing to do with them.. as long as you don't mind some Non DISers tagging along...

Guys, I hate to do this but I have to cancel. We went today and I will say it was gorgeous and worth the time. We did not get to ride the ride as the wait as well over 2 hours.

Something has come up and we have a family commitment that we did not see coming.


Will someone else be in charge??
