Just bought into the DVC on last years visit - we just couldn't resist! Anyways we have booked our stay - BLT (Nov 1-8) and then to SSR (Nov 8-10) - we couldn't get 9 nights at BLT but we are on a wait list.

I want to buy park hopper tickets but they are so expensive through Disney!! We do not want to buy passes because we only come once a year. I think 9 day pass is perfect as we will not be visiting any parks on our departure day. Total bummer there is no discount for park tickets for us DVC owners unless you buy an annual pass.

Any input would be appreciated!! I should mention that I am Canadian so if anyone knows of Canadian friendly places that would be great!

Thanks

Mel

If you look on the DVC Member website there is a special for a Premium Annual Pass for $399 (a $300 savings). That might be your best bet. With a Premium Annual Pass you also get to use the water parks, Disney Quest and a 20% discount on merchandise, among other perks. You could schedule your next yearly trip a week earlier than your current years trip and not have to purchase park tickets for that trip at all.

I usually have guest get their tickets at Undercover Tourist. They seem to have some of the biggest discounts and they are an authorized reseller of Disney. Enjoy your vacation, I'll be there the week after you at BLT for 5 nights!

If yu sign up for the mousesavers.com newsletter, you will get a link for Under Cover Tourist for good discounts on tickets. You can go directly to under cover tourist directly, but the link via mousesavers will prodie additional discounts. When ever comparing prices, make sure you price out the entire deal (tickets, taxes and shipping).

Yes this ^ The newsletter link will save you anywhere from $1 to $6 per ticket, depending on which ticket and how many days you are buying. If you are not going twice in a year, I haven't found anything better than UT with the Mousesavers.com link.

One way for cheap park hoppers, which I just realized won't work for you as I was typing this is the military "Salute to the Heroes"...sorry forgot Canadian as I was typing this, but that did clue me in to another cheaper ticket is the UK tickets I think through Undercover Tourist...I read about the somewhere else and you do not have to be British to purchase them...let me research it a bit more for you...

Okay...So somebody is trying this so you may want to ask Undercover Tourist about this:

If we live in the US are we able to buy/use the 14 Day UK park hopper passes?? It is for sale on the Undercover Tourist site...a great special: buy 7 days get 7 days free. They mail them to the US.....so what is the catch?

I have friends in the UK who can buy them for us and send them to us too.....it is cheaper than a 10 day park hopper pass??? We will be at WDW in Dec. for more than 10 days but less than 14 days. So it would work perfect for us. The annual passes cost way more...and we will not be back for the rest of the year.

I got this off another web-site. It's an awesome deal. I think it's better than my military one...investigate it further should you choose to accept this mission!
