I am a new DVC member. We are going Thanksgiving week and currently have a reservation at BLT for a 1 Bedroom Bay Lake View. We are waitlisted that same week for a 1-Bedroom Savannah View at Kidani Village. Does anyone have any experience with this that can give me an idea if we will get the room at Kidani?

Also, we are going to do the DDP and use Park Hopper tickets. Can we add the dining plan and tickets directly through Member Services to our reservation? Any recommendations on the best way to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is our first stay as members!

you may get Kidani - you may not. Wait list mostly come thru but not always.

you can definitely add dinning - just call MS. tickets not sure - but call MS they can tell you what you need to do. Or if you want to save money - would go to a ticket discount like ticketmania or undercover tourist - AAA has discounted WDW tickets too.

:) You have to add the DDP at least 48 hours before you check in. Have a great trip!!

I did not realize Disney would allow you to add tickets bought somewhere else to your room key. Member Services made me believe you had to buy the tickets from them in order to put them on your room key. Any recommendations on where to buy them?

We do this every time we visit the world. We get ours from undercover tourist. If you decide to get yours from undercover tourist, please keep in mind that they are mailed to you in a plain envelope so please watch for them so you don't just think it's junk mail and throw them away. Make sure to bring them with you, don't leave them at home!! One last tip, sign up for mousesavers if you haven't already. You will be sent extra links for more discounts. :thumbsup2

So do you just bring the paper tickets you bought from Undercover Tourist with you when you check into your property and they will put the tickets on your room card?

Yes they will. I don't understand why so many people want their tickets on the room key. I have an Annual Pass, and Tables in Wonderland, and it's not that hard to keep the cards with me. I also carry my DVC membership card, and my Visa Disney Rewards card too. I have a small credit card case for them, with my driver's license.

Yep, it's that easy. I am one of those who always has it all on one card. I link my credit card to the room when I check in and have that on my room key card as well. This way I don't need to carry a credit card or a lot of cash into the park either. It's easier and safer in my opinion, but everyone has their own feelings on this. :goodvibes
