THIS IS MY FIRST POST BUT I'VE BEEN OBSERVING FOR A COUPLE DAYS - THIS IS A GREAT FORUM. I'VE LOOKED AT OTHERS BUT THIS IS BEST, ESPECIALLY FOR DVC MEMBERS. I HAVE JUST MADE RESERVATIONS AT SSR FOR THE FIRST TIME. I REQUESTED AN UPPER FLOOR W/ DD VIEW, ANY CHANCE I'LL GET IT? SSR IS MY HOME RESORT AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT EXCEPT FROM DD. DH AND I JUST DECIDED TO TAKE A SPUR OF THE MOMENT TRIP AUG 17 - AUG 20. FIRST TIME W/O KIDS IN 5 YRS. NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THAT EXTRA TIME. HOPE I WON'T MISS THEM - DS 7 AND DD 2. WHAT AM I THINKING - I'LL BE AT DISNEY!!!! JUST HAVE TO GET OVER THE GUILT OF GOING TO THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH W/O THEM!

Welcome home, Neighbors! I closed on May 24th! I've already stayed 2 nights at OKW and I can tell you that there is NOTHING like being a DVC member. I've been going to Disney since I was 12, back when MK was all there was, and while we have always had excellent treatement and service, DVC brings it to a whole other level.
Can't wait for my first trip "home" in November!!
