New DVC Member - Chance of OKW GV in Sept 04? Our home: BCV. Ressie Trade?

Hello everyone! We are new DVC members, BCV Home, Dec Use Year. We are planing far ahead here in order to get everyone's schedule in sync -- We would like to take our parents down with us for our first trip home, but would like it see if it is possible for all of us to stay in a OKW GV. This would be in Sept 2004, checking in on a Sunday and out on Friday, one of the middle two weeks if possible.

I realize no one can make reservations this far in advance, but would like to ask some of the experts in this forum what would be the most likely scenario. Do you think we could find someone here at this board before the 11 month window starts who is willing to "get/trade" our needed reservation for one at BCV? We will have 190 points available this December, and this trip would cost 180.

I'd go so far as to give the OKW member the extra 10 that remain to them for our year for their trouble if we could for secure the OKW GV reservation and help us "learn the ropes"

I suppose we could "rent" points, then try to find someone else to "rent" ours, but I wasn't sure if that would be even more difficult to arrange than this "reservation trade", and perhaps we should "walk before we run"...

Any veterans out there have an idea of our chances, or should we just give up hope and just try for a 2br and studio at our home resort?
