New Disney Visa promotion ?

I received a new promotion with my statement: every friend or family member that applies for and accepted for the Disney Visa will get 50 dream reward dollars (using a special code). My card is in my name only, can my husband apply and get the DWDs? Has anyone tried this?

I wish they gave me the DWDs for every friend and family member that I got signed up!

I applied for out Disney Visa in my name and got the $25 bonus. But before the cards arrived, the advertised bonus was up to $50. So I called and asked the Visa person if I could now get the $50 because the card had not yet arrived. She said no, but that my husband was welcome to get his own card for the additional $50. That was her idea (but we did not do it, but we could have (according to her).

This sounds great!!!!! I was wondering if anyone knows the web site where I could apply for this card. Also, I am Canadian, is this offer only available to U.S. citizens?????

I would rather have the $50.00. We applied last summer and are charter members. We got a pin and I don't even collect pins. Maybe in 50 years this pin will be worth $50.00 LOL

I will say the visa is a great deal. We just came home from Disney and paid around 100.00 for food for 7 nights. We had saved/accumulated $350.00 using the visa throughout the year and I kept using my rewards card and watching the balance go down instead of my visa balance owed go up! It was great, I even have 30.00 left for our next trip which will probably be Disneyland not WDW. If you go to Disney this card is worth it.

search for the recent thread that has a link to the site for the 50 reward dollars for new customers. there'a a phone # on the site to call--anyone can get the $50 if approved for the card--although there's a code on the site, the operator never even asked me for it.

Any Canadians out there already have the card? Please check your current offers to see if there's a similar promotion for our friends up North!

The only thing I got was a pin too! And I traded it for a Pooh pin to give to my DGD! And actually, I haven't even used the card yet. We're still using the AMEX Platinum SkyMiles card to get free airfare. Too many cards...too little $ (I won't carry a balance!)

Thanks everyone. I just called and applied for this Disney Visa. Could someone give us some tips on how to accumulate rewards dollars faster? Can I for example use this card to pay my utility bills and then write a check to the Disney visa to pay off the balance rather than write individual checks directly to the telephone, cable, electric monthly bills?

Any other tips on how to use this card to its' full advantage.

We're going to WDW in the end of Aug. Don't know if I'll receive the credit card in time or not. How quickly did everyone receive their cards after applying? Also, if the card does arrive in time for my trip, will I be able to redeem the $50 dream reward dollars that I got for opening the account while on this trip to WDW? How does redeeming the dream dollar rewards work? Thanks everyone.
