I would think you would as they are park tickets. However, no one really knows yet as this is the first time it's happening. Tickets just went on sale for people with resort reservations, so it may take a few days for it to hit statements. If you are going to charge them to a credit card, might as well use the Inspire card.Need to purchase MNSSHP tickets. Do you get 3% back for these with the inspire.? I think I should get $100 credit statement….. i’m trying to decide if I wanna purchase them all on the inspire card or not.
I can't imagine you wouldn't get 3% and the $100. But we shall see!Need to purchase MNSSHP tickets. Do you get 3% back for these with the inspire.? I think I should get $100 credit statement….. i’m trying to decide if I wanna purchase them all on the inspire card or not.
The $200 for $2000 spend is cumulative for the calendar year or until card anniversary? I just got the card a few weeks ago. If I have 2 stays coming up in calendar year 2026 and spend say $1800 on room charges then my next trip is February 2027 and complete the spend on that trip does it trigger the bonus?
Yep. 3% on MNSSHP and it counts toward tickets and that creditNeed to purchase MNSSHP tickets. Do you get 3% back for these with the inspire.? I think I should get $100 credit statement….. i’m trying to decide if I wanna purchase them all on the inspire card or not.
I have heard that it might, but haven't independently confirmed. I am doing an experiment now. I have a DVC stay split between 2 reservations: 1 night in one DVC resort, and then a week in another. Through the DVC website, I've added the DDP to the 1 night reservation. If it counts towards the $2,000 resort folio spend, I may add it to the other one.Does anyone know if adding the dining plan to a hotel reservation will count towards the resorts $2,000 spend?
Ok I missed this detail.... the spend for the 2k is cumulative? I had been thinking it was a one shot deal.... this changes how I think about it now....and it's anni date? even better! All the bonuses go by anniversary date, not calendar year. So yes, your February trip will trigger the bonus.
Yes it is cumulative to get the $2000 spend and there is a tracker on the account that has a running total. It is not calendar year but anniversary year. A couple trips charging everything to the room makes it definitely doable to hit the $2000 spend.Ok I missed this detail.... the spend for the 2k is cumulative? My 1 night DVC Disney Dining Plan has become a posted charge, but it didn't move the needle on the "Track your offers & benefits" for the $200 after $2k resort folio spend. There is a chance that it only updates the bonus tracker after a monthly statement. I'll report again in about a week.I have heard that it might, but haven't independently confirmed. Currently it is pending charge on my Inspire, and my statement close is in about a week. I don't know if the bonus tracker will show whether DDP counts as soon as it becomes a posted charge, or if I have to wait for the next monthly statement.
But even if I have the answer for adding DDP to a DVC reservation, that doesn't guarantee it will be treated the same for adding DDP to a hotel reservation.
Yes, adding Disney Dining Plan to a DVC reservation does count towards the $200 after $2k resort spend. Today, a couple of days after it became a posted charge and a few days before my monthly statement, it did move the needle on my "Track your offers & benefits" in the Chase app by the exact amount of 1 night of DDP. I still have a long way to go.My 1 night DVC Disney Dining Plan has become a posted charge, but it didn't move the needle on the "Track your offers & benefits" for the $200 after $2k resort folio spend. We just paid our ABD trip off last month. Yes, you get 3% back and it qualifies for the 6 month no interest financing.Sorry if it's out here already, but a question. Has anyone used the card to pay a deposit or final payment for an Adventures By Disney trip? Trying to figure out if that's coded as US Disney 'purchase' and would offer 3% back, or if it's not considered a "Disney" spend. Thanks.
