New Disney Show TLC channel Friday 20/1

Hi all,

I don't pop in here very often, but thought I'd let you know for those who have Pay TV, there's a new series starting on TLC called "Disney Parks".

The first one airs on Friday 20/1, I think at 8.30pm. Saw the promo last night, and just about jumped with glee !

Thanks for that Sally. Just went to set up to record and noticed there is also a special on this Saturday night at 8.30m (eastern) a fan's guide to WDW.

Good get emum!! I watch a fair bit of TLC and I hadn't seen the promo yet. Just checked Foxtel's channel guide online and straight after the premiere program at 830pm on the 20th as you posted, there is another hour long show called Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World. Should also be worth a look for the Disboarders!

Woo Hoo Thanks both of you for that info. OzCath, I have just added the one on Saturday to the planner (it's on at 7.30pm in Qld) and will series link the new series. That is exciting!

I wonder if the Disney Parks series will be the same as the Disney Parks DVD's just put into a TV show.

there is another hour long show called Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World.

That's the one that's on this coming Saturday night and replayed Sunday day

I'll try to post here more often, though I'm busy watching the DCL threads with baited breath. The future trips are subject to change, although Aulani in April is definite. I wish my kids would quit growing up, as it's freaking me out that DD1 will be finished school in just under 3 years, so am trying to squeeze in as many trips as possible before she has a life all of her own !

We're full Disney fans, though. Me especially. Poor DH wonders just how many D&B bags a girl really needs

Alicia, I have a feeling that the show is going to be the DVD set "Disney Parks" put on to TV. I read the description of the show and that's what it sounds like it may be. If it is, I'll let you know and you can get the DVD set and then you won't miss it (they sell it at Amazon.com), if it isn't I'll keep my fingers crossed that they put it on free to air

Yes I could be the narrator for the series as we can almost know them word for word

The one that's on this Saturday night (and Sunday Day and the following week, oh how Foxtel loves to repeat shows ) looks like it's a different thing but I really have a feeling that the "Disney Parks" series that starts on the 20th is going to be the DVD's. I'm really hoping it's something new too
