YMMV, new Target Circle bonus in my account. Spend $150 in one purchase & get $15 in Rewards. Expires 12/24
Anyone else having issues with the Wallet part of the Target app? It keeps saying it can't load my GCs or Red Card:

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one then. I get the same pop-up. Hopefully it's resolved soon. There's an issue I get a popup saying part of my wallet didn't load correctly.

Same with me, I didn't get an email confirmation for my order, and I can't load purchase history. Also having trouble with Target app and website. Can't get purchase history, maybe an order of gc's was completed or maybe not. Glad it's not just me, but hate that they're having issues affecting us.
I have $15/120 and $10/80 on my other account.Mine is spend 140 get 15. Surprised it's a bit more than 10% but I'll take it.

I have $15 on a $130 purchase. I ordered a $100 DGC and 2 $15 Starbucks. All digital. Never got a confirmation email amd can't check my order history. Glad to see it's not me but geez, 6 days til Christmas and this happens.Same with me, I didn't get an email confirmation for my order, and I can't load purchase history.
These are my observations and what I do obviously this depends on the region of the country you live in because it relies heavily on Meijer, a Midwest grocery chain. If you don’t mind sharing, what is your go to source and method for getting the most DGC cards at the lowest cost through stacking throughout the year? I hear people here consistently getting 20% discounts, but I have never been able to hit that mark. I know there are many different buying opportunities, but what retailers and payment methods should a newbie focus on first? I would like to up my game in 2026. Thank you!
Hitting 20% for high volume is hard. Shoprite, for instance, often has spend $100, get $20 next week, but that's one per Price Plus card, so you can't really scale that up too much without having a bunch of people's price plus numbers. If you don’t mind sharing, what is your go to source and method for getting the most DGC cards at the lowest cost through stacking throughout the year? Yeah, I just got an order through, I see the charge pending on my red card, but now I can't see order history on my husband's account, he didn't get a confirm email, etc.The news is reporting that Target is apparently having issues system wide. Hope they can get it fixed quickly, but the official statement from Target is rather vague.
In better news, my offer is $15 for $120 spend.

Out of curiosity, can you check the credit card for a pending transaction? Mine is definitely pending on my red card, although I'm having the same issue with email confirm and purchase history.Never got a confirmation email amd can't check my order history. Great first post!!These are my observations and what I do obviously this depends on the region of the country you live in because it relies heavily on Meijer, a Midwest grocery chain.
Meijer tends to run gift card promotions of spend $50 get 5000 points. This caps at a $500 spend and is frequently around holidays, such as Valentine's Day, Mothers Day, Easter, Fathers Day, Halloween, Christmas (this list is non-exclusive).
Technically they occasionally run other sales and promotions but I'm focusing on big wins not $50 here or there.
Occasionally the promotion will be spend $50 and get 7500 points. Points can be used for money off merchandise/groceries, gas discount or other things. For our case we will math it as money off.
I would contend that gas isn't always the best option as we drive smaller cars, I work remotely thus we don't use a lot. You would need to calculate what works best for you.
At $50 per 5000 points if you bought the max of $500 that's $50 or 10% off
If you get $50 per 7500 points at the maximum purchase that's $75 or 15% off
Meijer codes as a grocery store. You can use this to your advantage by using a credit card that pays cash back so in my case using the AAA Daily Advantage card I'm adding another 5%. TECHNICALLY this against the rules of the cardholder agreement however if I was really thirsty and got a soda oh and some gift cards while I was there.
This would increase
50/5000 to 15%
75/5000 to 20%
You can also use PayPal debit card if you select grocery as your category. This is also 5% cash back with a max of $50 cash back so a $1000 spend. This is free and very handy for our next store.
Sam's Club tends to run Disney gift cards on sale the first full weekend of May and November each year. It's been $180 for $200 with a limit of 4. As of 12/19/2025 PayPal Debit has been coding Sam's Club and Costco as grocery which means you can get 5% cash back. This could be changed at anytime. So stacking these together will get you 15% off.
These are the strategies that have been serving me well and seem to be repeating however things can obviously change.
Rakuten has a 2k limit per month for GCs.com. Not sure if you hit a cap.Did anyone get the rakuten 2% back with giftcards.com to work? Both my orders went from processing to ineligible today.
