I loaded all mine for a recent trip and it worked nearly flawlessly. So much easier for each retail or food CM to scan my card via its bar code in Google Wallet than set up their machine to swipe a GC with each purchase. Also made it so I could quickly copy GC number for pasting into payment box for a mobile order. We did have one or two times the scan wouldn't work and we needed to swipe the physical cards, which was annoying because it meant we still needed to take the risk of carrying physical cards with us. I have now deleted them all out since our trip is over as I don't want to invite issues by leaving payment methods loaded digitally anywhere for longer than needed.Google Wallet has a section for Gift Cards, one for Disney, where you put the card number info in. Has anyone used it that way for payments?
I went to another BB store today. Cashier said that she will let me buy $2000 max per day. I bought the $50 per 2 transaction at a time. They were not busy. I must have grabbed some variable ones. She said that she was going to try $500 and it came up $450. She did it twice but 2 different transactions. I was so excited that I stopped at $1900. I didnt want her to get in trouble. She told me that she works again tomorrow. So I will buy more tomorrow. Im very happy and relieved that I am saving 10% on my dues. I remember when my dues were under $600.
FYI I was able to get 2 variable GC at $500 each for 10% off at BB.
That happened to me. I found the email again and reloaded it and the number was different than my spreadsheet. I either pasted the wrong number in my spreadsheet or it changed in the system. One of my three physical Best Buy cards is giving an issue. Sigh.
Wait what? You told cashier to put 500 on card and it rang up 450?FYI I was able to get 2 variable GC at $500 each for 10% off at BB.
There is a time ticker on the gift card on checkout page. Mine said expires in 18 hours when i just went to do another online order. Like you though Im going to store to see if i can a larger amount instead of these 50 dollar ones.OK, thought I was finished but now I have to get dressed and go to Best Buy today all because of your posts!
By the way, thanks for posting!
And, am I correct that this deal is still active for today, Dec 18?
Yes, 450. I made 2 transactions to get 1000 dgc.Wait what? You told cashier to put 500 on card and it rang up 450?
So strange that my orders all get cancelled except for the first one. I get error messages saying they can’t verify my account or I am over the limit.I was just able to purchase 2 more digital cards from BB after another 24 hours. That's 5 digital and 2 physical for me total.
Are you able to get refunded?so i received 1 of 2 shipped physical cards, the package seemed like it had caught on something and ripped (or opened by someone) and no card inside.
Do you have the link to the variable GC? I can't see it on their site. ThxFYI I was able to get 2 variable GC at $500 each for 10% off at BB.

Bizarre. I successfully bought and loaded 2 $50 e-gc and 1 physical. I just bought (and had delivered) a 3rd $50 e-gc using a 5% cash back deal from Rakuten. I’ve also bought $3400 in gc from Giftcards.com the last couple of days using 3 different addl cash back deals (Rakuten, Paypal, Chase), though, so I’m all set for now until I decide whether to renew my AP (stop laughing). My bounceback stays in Feb and April are now covered, and I’ll have a bunch extra for my wrist card for food booths! I need to remember to have $ set aside for this end-of-year boon every year, it really is saving me quite a bit for 2026!That's what was happening to me after 2 digital and one physical.
Then a digital went through but was canceled by email and my credit card was charged. That charge dropped yesterday and was cleared completely this morning.
Anyway, I'm off to the local BB to try for a $500 card.
Edit: my 2% card will net me $59 on the $500 card.
