How reliable is the tracking info from the official DGC / Disneystore? I ordered a couple of physical cards on 12/8 that are estimated to be delivered in a couple of days, but they haven't moved beyond In Progress.

they take a while to deliver in my experience. If I need them within two weeks I always do e-GC because I just cant trust they will get here in time.

Nope, but I was charged (not pending anymore); I messaged them, and they said the order had been accepted and should be shipped in the next 24 hr. I get cranky when I’m charged for something that’s “processing”!!!

I haven't received an email from giftcards.com saying that it's been processed, but my Chase card has been charged, also. Unfortunately, they only have me my 1.5% rather than 5% cashback.

That’s annoying. You can get better cash back via Rakuten right now (that’s what I did because my Chase cards had nothing). Hope yours change status soon.

Once you get a tracking number from like usps they’re accurate. It takes a bit with Disney these days. My 11/29 gc arrived yesterday. The USPS tracking was pretty accurate, came in a couple days earlier than expected when I got the shipped notice but my local usps distribution center is processing like lightening these days.

I've found that they will create a tracking number as soon as a label is created, but can still take days to have the item actually received by USPS. Once received, I've found it to be accurate, but not before then. I've had it sit for days after the shipping label was created before they have received it not so much. Maybe you have had better luck.

Also, the expected shipped date is always wrong at Disney for their gift cards. They seem to default to the usual shipping 3-5 business days but then in fine print say gift cards can take longer 2-3 days longer. One of mine took over two weeks. A good update wasn't available until the USPS said it received the item. I placed another order for gift cards at Disney days later and actually received them only one day after the first order, so you never know. Their customer service said it could be 2 weeks expected on gift card delivery, not what they indicate online when you order.

My guess is that they bulk deliver to post office and if you hit a time when they are going out then you get lucky. If not, you may need to wait a few days longer than you would expect. The USPS tracking will show the correct expected date when they have the package, but the Disney site may still show the incorrect earlier date for a while.
