I don’t have my Disney 11/18 points yet. But do have two other orders I did. But I did physical cards and they took a few days to ship.

Same exact thing happened to me. I ordered three gift card for $1250 and typed the wrong email address on one. After 30 minutes of trying to get them to simply correct it or deactivate and send a new one they said they could not. So I had them cancel the entire order and deactivate the three cards that were emailed, including the 2 that correctly made it to me.

The order took a day or two but got refunded at Disney.
The credit went back to paypal
The pay in 4 got marked as paid in full
It said my original payment of 312.50 taken out of my bank account was 'pending'
Paypal Phone customer support was actually extremely helpful and they explained that the credit would come in the form of paypal 'rewards' that I could transfer back to my checking account for free, but they had to wait 5 days for the credit payment to clear. Once it did, I was able to transfer the money back to my checking account that I had used for the first pay in 4 payment.

Took a while, but it all worked out.

Since the pay in 4 was still active, I activated the disney 10% offer again and did the whole transaction again at Disney using the paypal pay in 4 but selected physical cards this time to be safe. All cards received and all points pending in paypal as they should.

I documented my sad saga in a few posts that got buried a few pages ago.

Now I just hope they actually go through for $$ to send to my checking account like everyone else.

Glad it all worked out better for you than it did for me. They would not just send a new card and made me go through that entire process.

As a postscript, the Disney help desk was entirely unhelpful. Every time I had a question or suggested a way to resolve, they put me on hold and would come back and say they spoke to someone and could not do it. I really wish they would have transferred me to someone who knew what they were doing. Not only would it probably have been corrected, but even if it didn't, it would have been a lot faster. Nothing like being put on hold repeatedly when the person talking to you is simply reading off a screen with no comprehension of what they are actually doing or saying.

I had a similar issue with Disney support when I called in about a different gift card order and why it had not been shipped. The person just kept parroting that it was 'shipped', even though all that meant was that the label was created and the post office had not even picked it up a week after ordering. They could not see the tracking status that I could so they just kep insisting that is was shipped.

WHen I called a different time, the person was able to see the tracking status that showed it had not been picked up yet and was able to note that it seemed like an issue. Fortuately, the status was updated the next day that it had been [icked up and eventually got the cards, but 2 different calls and 2 different experiences. Not the best customer service from Disney.

Not to mention that the gift cards I ordered from giftcards.com came faster than the ones I ordered from Diseny, but that is a separate issue.

I had an issue with an order and tried chat, email and calling. None of them could help me. Was frustrating but it was a small issue so I just let it go.

Same here with an 11/18 purchase.

I wish I had jumped on that deal. But I was in Disney and didn’t have a chance to think about it until I got back. I don’t see the 10% offer on there any more, but I guess I could try doing one order for the $1250 for 20%….

It was, but it was the only time they ever did anything as far as this thread is aware. It seems to have been a one-off.

Got my Pay4 PayPal reward points for the eGC that I ordered on 11/18 in my account now. The Disneystore 10% is still pending. Points for purchases made on 11/20 and 11/25 are still pending.

Got an email at 6 hrs ago that my giftcards.com purchase finally went through. No tracking info but hopefully this means the physical gift cards are on their way!

Got $25 circle rewards for $150 spend. Grabbed some DGCs and it worked great. Thanks all for the heads up to check for that!

As the others said it will work so satisfy the spend, but you can not use the reward you get to buy more DGC's. But if you are going to buy stuff at Target anyway it's a win.

A couple years back I used my rewards I received from buying DGC's and stacked it with my bonus for opening a Red card account and my birthday discount to purchase a $150 Food Saver Vacuum Sealer. Think it only cost me something like $1.48 out of pocket. It was something I needed to buy so using Disney math I got $150 worth of DGC for free

Kind of disappointed that Best Buy doesn't have its usual sale yet on DGC.

In the past the Best Buy DGC sale doesn't take place until just before Christmas. Past few years it has been the week before. Look for it starting around Dec 14-15th. But I still check every day or so just in case and of course it will get posted here.
