@DVCjj Confirm first that the Target GCs weren't auto added to your account (check available payment methods). I also got frustrated thinking each couldn't be added till I realized Target had auto added them for me. If this is not the case you might need to call.

No I don't believe it's weird, I believe this is a misunderstanding of the situation. I believe the situation presented by @LittleBitGoofy is that they ordered 2x $100 gift cards in a single transaction which will only trigger 1x $10 Target gift card. You need to process them each in their own transaction.

Just to be clear, if I transfer $ from card A to card B, leaving card A with 0 balance and no issues and then have a problem with card B, you believe I will need to show receipts for card A, even though it doesn't have an issue since I transferred $ form there to card A?

Not going to bother transferring then and just use up card A then. Don't need to have to be concerned with it as long as I have card B, which could be a while.

I realize these are worst case unlikely to happen scenarios, but I'd like to understand so I can make the best decisions.

It’s the load receipts we recommend keeping as those are what Disney was reported to ask for, don’t recall any mention of Disney caring about the rest. I certainly couldn’t keep track of that much. I do note big or potentially refundable transactions like tickets/hotels

Thinking is if you have a new card compromised and are asked for proof of purchase you should be able to produce the receipts for the card and loads to that card, if a prior card was transferred to the new one then proof of purchase for the prior card itself would logically be what Disney would ask for.

Yes, as it turned out that's correct that it must be multiple, separate orders. But the terms linked (reading through both levels of it) did not state a max of 1x per order. It states if you order $100 eligible gift card you get $10 Target GC.

Considering they let you order as many single orders of $100 eligible gift cards and it keeps doling out $10 GC it's an odd approach to not allow multiple within the same order that are all eligible and independently qualify.

It's just in how Target has coded the promotion, if you go into the store they will also only ring up $100 and issue you a single $10. But they are nice enough to process multiple transactions because they also know how the system works.

Just ordered 2x email-delivery $100 DGC online with Target and they only sent me a single $10 Target GC. Using the chat support and they say it's a max of 1x $10 Target gift card per order no matter how much once you meet the $100.

Has anyone ordered more than 1 $100 DGC with this Target promotion and received more than 1 $10 Target GC?

Update: After 21 minutes in the live chat they agreed to provide a one-time exception and provide the second $10 Target GC. Chat agent says it is limited to a max of 1x Target GC per order regardless of the order quantity of eligible GC because "Target Circle offers are always 1 max". I reviewed the terms and it nowhere says that. Be forewarned.

It’s one gift card per transaction. It sounds like you ordered 2 gift cards at once, which yes, gets only 1 gift card. People who are getting more than 1 target card have ll been making multiple transactions. Meaning, order 1 Disney gift card for $100 & then check out. Then do a separate order for a $100 Disney gift card & check out. No one has reported getting more than 1 target gc in a single transaction.

I don’t think the earlybird promo works for DGCs anymore.

Check the fine print. My PP gift cards.com 5% promo is limited to 2,000 points, so only $400 worth of gift cards.

Edited, I didn't account for the 10% off. It would take $444.44 to generate a $400 charge so it's really $425 or $450 to maximize the 5% off.

Thanks @grumpy28! I have no idea why I can’t pull it up thru Rakuten. But I went directly to the gift cards website, added them to my card with the discount. The. I went to Rakuten & opened the giftcard site. When I signed in, the discounted gift cards were in my cart & I finished the check out. Hope it tracks.
