NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Thank you everyone! We have a trip in a couple weeks. Over the last several months I paid off $1500 resort stay and saved $1700 for food/lightning lane/expenses for our trip. I saved an average of 20% using Disney gift card. I have my money saved on DGC site and on Disney store plastic cards with an empty electronic card saved on my Apple wallet for an emergency transfer if needed.

The best savings were Meijer imo and applying it for $1 off gallon of gas to my large tank. Meijer was giving me about 24% off that way.
Agreed, my sister and i go together to get the full 30 gallons of gas, such a huge savings!

For those of us who live in the Northeast, Shoprite has $15 off your next shopping order when purchasing any gift card $100+ (other than the usual exclusions of Shoprite and Visa/Mastercard/Financials) starting next week (so starting Friday 7/11 for Shoprite's in Maryland and starting Sunday 7/13 for Shoprite's in other states).

This may have already been discussed, but didn’t see in the last few pages. I have a 5% back at Sam’s club on my Chase cards (up to $12). Has anyone used this on Disney gift cards? Any issues?

It was mentioned previously not sure how far back though so this is a good reminder for those that were lucky enough to get it.

You shouldn’t have any issues with gift cards in store. I believe online is processed through samsclub.com and not a third party so it should work fine as well.

Thanks! I was going to use online if I use it. Wish it was one of those times where Sam’s has the extra savings. Would be nice to get more like 15% total savings instead of 10% (after regular savings plus chase rewards)

I was explaining to a friend the other day why when I buy Amazon gift cards, I try to buy the lowest denominations possible (usually that is either $5, $15 or $25).

The reason is that an amazon gift card automatically gets tied to an account once used. We don't buy that much from Amazon, so we don't have a prime account, but we have 2 non prime amazon accounts. However, our friend lets us use their Amazon prime account but their rule is that any gift cards left in the account will be used by the next person. Therefore, it makes sense for us to buy a whole bunch of $5 Amazon gift cards so that way we are not leaving gift card balances in the prime account.

Looks like the Lyft & Uber deals are sold out on Amazon, showing full price now.

And BJs is showing all Disney gift cards back at regular price, despite saying the price the expires July 13. So I guess also sold out.

A lot these sites code as travel like undercover tourist even though they are selling tickets.
OK, I did a little more digging, and made a "test" purchase on our Chase Freedom Flex of a (slightly) discounted $10 Regal movies gift card, through the Sam's Travel Portal. I wanted to see how it would code, and whether Chase would honor the Sam's Travel Portal (which also sells discounted Disney tix, Universal tix, and Disney party tix) as part of this quarter's "live entertainment" 5% cashback category.

I am happy to say, IT DID! :stitch: My purchase transacted at 5% cashback. Which means that along with all other various ways we can stack cashback via DGCs, this should also work to stack certain discounted ticket retailers with this specific cashback category on eligible cashback cards. Costco and BJs have similar portals and I suspect it might work there as well.

YMMV of course - I would always do a very small test purchase first - but this will probably be how we purchase our MVMCP tix unless there is a substantial enough AP discount on our dates (unlikely given they are in December).

I also ordered and they shipped separately and did not qualify for circle reward. I cancelled all the items and have given up on target too many hoops to jump through. also reordered all items from walmart and was cheaper.
I think they may have fixed the system for the better. If your order wasn't recent and you get a good offer, maybe give them another chance.

For target we do our grocery shopping there. I had some stuff to pick up. Some shipped. The rewards show once it all ships/is ready for pick up.

The issue is if it’s a third party that something is from. It won’t count unless all from the one I believe.

You're right, I got my $10 reward after my 3rd (final) package shipped yesterday. So using previously earned Circle rewards count and packages shipped separately also got accounted for all in the same order.

Same. Just kind of strange that every denomination that was on sale still has the “offer good until July 13” banner but shows regular price.
Weird. Hopefully they will go back on sale soon, but the only real benefit over Sam’s Club pricing was the $50 card at slightly over 6%. Sam’s everyday price for the $200 card is discounted 5%. I’ll take any additional percent I can get, but Sam’s is the fallback for us when we need cards quickly.
