NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

DH has Spend $125 with Target Circle Card & Get $15 Reward

I get a lot of offers for baby stuff; diapers, food, car seats - and these are supposedly targeted offers. Our son is 21 years old, it's been years since I bought anything for him let alone for a baby shower. I think someone is sleeping on the job!

wow thanks for the info..... so any 3rd party cards should stay in their own "pool" of cards to use....makes sense. Say for example I bought $500 on 3rd party site, and another $500 straight up "new"- but kept them separate on the gc website (didn't combine with each other, and the scenario you describe above happened.... would the "new' separate $500 be safe, even if the 3rd party card was deactivated?
It depends what you use the separate $500 3rd party gift card for. If you bought it to pay for DisneyWorld tickets, or a Disney hotel, or a Disney cruise then Disney would be able to track it back to your Disney account and freeze everything. If you used it to buy merchandise in a physical Disney store, then there would be no way for Disney to track it back to you.

Basically, if it used on anything where Disney will be able to track it back to you, then it could be an issue if the gift card goes bad.

Thanks so much for the heads up! Was able to double dip with the 10% off Petsmart gift cards to get me about halfway through what I need for boarding the doggo for my trip later this year. 😩

Thanks, I did update the post. I think I'll buy one today and see if I can buy another tomorrow. I'll be holding onto mine for a future purchase. Giftcards .com seems to have great deals during the holidays but never on Disney. Shame.

If it works, keep me posted. Now that the trip itself is paid for, now all I need to do is pull together enough gift cards for dinner at Takumi-Tei and getting the dog boarded. (Unless I can get some Disney Gift Cards at 10%+ off since my Disney Visa'll be used for all the other parts of my trip otherwise.)

So here I am again with another Target issue….i had a bonus circle offer ….spend $70 4X for a $35 reward with an expiration date of 9/23. So I purchased my 4th $100 Disney GC on 9/20 and it’s been showing as “pending” since I purchased it and my bonus circle offer expired without my getting credit for the last purchase.

Just out of curiosity... why did you order 4 $100 gift cards instead of 4 $75 gift cards?

The fine print on my email said it would work up to 3 times on a $100 gift card. I tried to add 3 of them to my cart and it wouldn't work. However, I bought the first $100 one for $90 and got that gift card. I then thought I'd try again and the code worked a second time for another $100 gift card. Even better, the site allowed me to use the first gift card to pay for the second.

So at this point I had a $10 gift card (leftover from the first) and the second $100 gift card, all for only the original $90 I spent. I tried to do it again but it wouldn't let me use the code on the third one, despite the fine print in my email. Either way, not a bad deal at all!

For a data point, their site will not let you use more than one of their gift cards per transaction. My intent was to just buy a $110 Disney gift card using both gift cards I had but there was no means to do so. Also, they don't appear to have Disney e-gift cards on their site. You have to order physical ones by mail. I ended up using them on other e-gifts I'll be using anyway.

I can't get it to work at all. I keep getting an error.

I can't get it to work at all. I keep getting an error.
The fine print also stated "until supplies last" so perhaps I got the last two? Joking aside, their site was very clunky so the errors don't surprise me. I don't really have any advice except to.. Oh nevermind. I see you got it to work. Yay! But yeah, their site is clunky.

The WalMart fraud team unintentionally did me a solid. I was trying to buy about $1,500 of DGC to take advantage of the Q3 bonus, which is 10% for me since I’m in the first year. However, the transaction kept getting flagged for fraud even though I cleared it with Discover. I would place an order and they’d immediately cancel it.

Rather than fight WalMart - I just went over to our local Kroger grocery store and bought gift cards in-person. I’ll still get the 10% cash back for Q3 “grocery store” category. Better yet, Kroger has a deal for 4x fuel points on gift cards this week! So - I still get $150 in straight cashback, but now I also have a whopping 5,800 fuel points! lol

So thank you WalMart! This worked out way better! Lol
