My Target Circle Bonus is spend $120 × 4 get $40 reward, exp. 9/22. I was hoping for 10% like usual since we're needing DGCs for a Mid Oct. trip and cruise. A little disappointed but I'll still do this one.

Maybe this is widely known but thought I’d post just in case I’m not the only one who didn’t know. I don’t often churn visa/mc gc, I usually just stick to straight DGC.

Smiths (Kroger) I had the coupon for $8 off 2 $100 Visa/MC and 4x fuel points. Grand total was $205.90. I only earned 4x fuel points on $192. Still ahead obviously but for the lost 55 points.

Just a heads up that Sam's Club purchases of third party gift cards in store or e-gift cards online are not earning any Sam's cash back. I have Plus membership with the Sam's MasterCard and bought SW e-gift cards in June that did not earn Sam's cash and just bought Disney gift cards in-store that did not earn cash back.

Did you buy your tickets with RMN and the Viator coupon? I can't seem to get the coupon to work when going though any cashback portal. But if I clear cookies and don't go through a portal, then it works.

I have tried several times today and on 2 different computers but have not been able to get the Viator coupon. Each time I receive the "Sorry there is a delay processing your reward. We'll contact you by email" but no email. I tried 2 diifferent emails but neither worked and incognito mode.

Yup I have reported this before. It didn’t even earn 1% back. It is the fine print that it excludes GC. For this reason I use a different card than the Sam’s MC when purchasing GCs.

Thanks for the DP about not getting fuel points on the activation fees.

I used to buy them, call and get a pin # and then use it for a Disney GC to get $0.80 a gallon on $105.95 total spend when both Visa and other GC were 4x.

Unfortunately that stopped working for me last year so I haven’t messed with those V/MC cards since.

It’s bizarre that their app explicitly says you will earn 3% on the purchase page for all 3rd party gift cards (screenshot below), but then seemingly exclude it in their fine print.

If nothing else - I can tell you that samsclub.com 3rd party gift cards have tracked for 3% on my AmEx BlueCash preferred (no annual fee) as an “online purchase”. Recent purchase of Disney, Spotify and Texas De Brazil have all tracked for 3%.

I’m glad that you have received it but I never have and even tested it by not buying anything at Sam’s or using the card (luckily gas was a 5% category on another card during this time). After that time period I think 2 statements I made one Disney GC purchase and my next statement I did not earn anything which I was very disappointed with.

So yes the screenshot does show that but look at the fine print.
