Sharing a DP: I had an Amex offer to buy $750 Amex gift card, get $50 back, up to two times. I bought two physical ones thinking I would use it in Japan. Decided to try using one to pay for the BJ's $500 DGC, and it worked!

I have a 15% back, up to $10, at Office Depot on my CSP. DH and I have 9 Chase cards between us and it's only on the one card, and only up to $10, but better than nothing!

If you are near a Meijer, they are offering an mPerks deal of 15,000 points when you spend $50 or more on a Home Delivery or Pickup order. This deal goes through November 30. You don't have to 'clip' anything; it tracks automatically through your mPerks membership. Also, in the case of a Pickup order, I think the no-fee minimum is still $35 so there should be no additional fee of any sort if you are picking up. (Never having done Home Delivery, I know nothing about it.) The usual suspects are excluded from the purchase total, including all prepaid and gift cards. The deal limit is 15,000 points so you can only do it once.

Ugh. Just opened the recent batch of Visa gift cards I bought at Staples last month.They are paper cards! some of the yellow front of the cards stuck to the packaging when I removed them. I use them for online purchases a lot, but I am a bit concerned about the quality of the magnetic strip for swiping in stores.

I think they are saying they bought Visa gift cards, not Disney gift cards.

I have been using those paper cards for a while now, and so far they have all swiped fine. I think the idea is they are much more secure, as they are able to be glued into the package better, making it much harder for the crooks to take them out and put them back in.

Some good news! Target has now started carrying the One4All Ultimate gift cards. This makes many more gift cards now available at Target!
