New Amex offer at Lidl (for those of us in the Northeast): Get $10 back on a $50 purchase thru 12/31/24. Lidl does sell gift cards, below is the link to the post in the old forum where I took pictures of gift cards sold in Lidl from 2022. They did have Disney gift cards back then, so I would assume they still do. I had the offer on all 7 of my authorized user cards (although not my own card).

I second that, every Dollar General in my area is cash only for gift cards. I find that Dollar General more than any other chain store is cash only for gift cards. I would recommend calling first and asking before making a special trip out to them.

Thanks for the heads up! I need some stuff for a Christmas basket we’re doing for a local charity so I may get that stuff instead of trying a gift card, depending on if I have to pay cash for the GC or not.

Can I ask if there is a way to see when the 12x Pepper coins deals come around for a certain store (like Sam's)? I signed up for Pepper and I'm going to give this a try to use my AMEX offer.

I am finding that Pepper is now targeting a lot of their offers, and they usually start around 11 AM and last until maybe 4 or 5 PM (when they seem to sell out, since they only have a limited amount of the bonus points offers). So your best bet would be to check your pepper app daily at around 11 AM.

I honestly have no clue about their payment info safety versus any other company (how would anyone know?), but I would assume Amex wouldn't be offering up offers on a company if they didn't trust them.

I think most of the negative comments on DOC are from people who didn't receive the bonus points or had their accounts frozen, but in most cases those are people who are probably buying very large amounts of gift cards. In this case, most of us are doing it for the very lucrative 30% Amex Offer (when is the last time you were able to get 30% off a Walmart gift card - it is extremely rare), so even if the bonus points don't end up posting, it is still a super deal.

I personally wouldn't buy gift cards from pepper just for the bonus points.

I think so, but as I said before, I am really not doing this for the points, I am doing it more for the Amex Offer. The points is just a bonus on top of that. Since the Amex offer is good thru the end of the December and I have it on 5 more cards, there is no need to rush - I will wait until a day that I can catch the Sam's Club boost.

It’s an app. You can buy 3rd party GC from them and earn rewards, kinda like buying GC through Swagbucks.

Currently, Amex has a cash back offer for purchasing a GC from them

Not sure if posts like these are allowed or discouraged, but if anyone is interested, Chilis is having a 1 day buy $50 gift card and get 2 $10 gift cards as a bonus. However it appears that you need to use the bonuses in two separate trips from Jan 1 through Feb 13. It doesn't look like you can use both in one trip if I am reading these terms correctly.

This is as low as they go correct? I've only been a member for a couple of years and I don't recall seeing them less than this before. Last year for BF they were $472.99 which is what they were a couple of weeks ago too for some random sale.
