DP: This has been posted a few times about in-store, but haven't seen about e-Gift cards. I wanted to note there IS a limit to Target email delivery DGC, I have to go back and comb through how many I have purchased online but I cannot buy any more DGC on my Target account at any denomination, so means I hit my limit for all denominations, keeps saying "error" with my card when I try and checkout --- for the Disney holiday, regular DGC, and even Disney gift/registry card (that can be used like a regular Disney gift card).

New fear unlocked. Are you SURE the reason is that you've reached some lifetime limit?

The $500 DGC at Sam’s is generally not the best deal.

They actually have $200 DGC for $190 right now (5%), and you can get up to 5 of them. Considering how easy it is to combine them - I would do that instead.

They also offer $50 for $47.98 (4%).

I bought 4 $500 gift cards on two different Target accounts (total of 8) - one was a Target credit and one was a Target debit. I assumed it was a limit for a pay period so I waited until the cycle was over but it’s still not working and I cannot buy more $500 GCs. I haven’t tried in store because the 2% RMN CB always codes for me. I will call customer service tomorrow and ask.

I was tallying the other denominations but was hard to track in my email - I’ll go and track this and report back this week.

Target has been known to limit how many gc you can buy over random time periods and that was a lot you bought over a short tome. They are also capable of figuring out when someone is using multiple accounts. I suspect you’ll be able to buy again after some period of time (whether it’s a week or a month or a couple months no idea).

Why are you using your email? You should be able to look up your purchases on your Target accounts. I think that would be easier.

That is definitely confusing. Especially because it says the gift cards have no expiration date and no fees.

I'm making an assumption here - but because Earl of Sandwich issues the gift card, I feel like it would not expire. However, the Groupon Voucher that you get which maybe required to redeem the Earl of Sandwich gift card may expire in 90 days, meaning you need to trade it in for an Earl of Sandwich gift card.

You may want to check with Groupon to be sure though.

I have purchased well over $2000 in the past two years so I believe it is due to the short time frame and them potentially thinking is fraud rather than a lifetime limit.
