NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

A few of my orders have gone "on hold", just be patient and it should process and go through, at least for me - all of mine have gone through.
Indeed it did! Just processed through. First order yesterday got held up by Chase checking for fraud and I had to manually approve it. This morning's $100 GC order processed in minutes, so this evening's hold made me think it was a variation of yesterday's event. But nope, it just took longer and is now processed.

FWUW, I haven't been on in a while and was late to the BB discounts. I went in today and ordered 3 at 3:28 and had the email digital cards by 3:32.

I ordered 3 more at 3:44 and had the email digital cards by 3:47.

I found BJ's card I had ordered for $50 that just had the transfer out of $50 for a balance of 0. So I added all these to that card and now have $300 on the physical card.

Hope I did that right.

Quick question on the giftcards.com stacking to buy Disney gift cards. Do you need to wait to get physical giftcards.com gift cards in the mail before using them to get the Disney gift cards? Or are they associated with your account and available at the website to use immediately?

Topcashback also has 5% back on Giftcards.com

So for me..that’s 10% off for initial gift card + 2*points with Amex Blue + 5% back at Topcashback
+
another 10% off on the actual Disney gift card + 5% back at Topcashback for the Disney gift card.

I’ll let you guys know if both transactions tracked on Topcashback

The giftcards.com gift card is delivered via email. It took a few hours for me to receive mine. The Disney gift card comes in the mail.

You and everyone else going this route are going with the 1.99 no tracking option correct?
I am, not sure if everyone else is. But I also only ordered $216 worth of physical Disney cards. Had it been a lot more I probably would have done the tracking. I also did two rounds to make sure the 1st one went through ok before doing more.

FYI, the terms on the Topcashback Giftcards.com page note that discounted orders are not eligible for cash back. Hopefully it will slip through the cracks, though!

I think most people just don't want to deal with multiple steps and want to go for as many cards as they can. BB is an easy 10% off, add in a CC offer and it's literally a no-brainer.
I thought about that, but giftcards.com has a one step 10% offer right now that doesn't have the scaling issues of the BB offer...

I have another data point for the Best Buy $45 for $50 Disney gift cards. I posted two days ago that I was only allowed one order of 3 gift cards, and my second order was cancelled. But at the same time, I created an account for my husband and then managed to do one order of 3 gift cards. The second order in this account was again cancelled. I think Best Buy somehow figured out that these two accounts are really for one person, so I could only get six gift cards among two accounts.

I tried yesterday again using my own account. I was able to get two orders of 3 gift cards this time. Then when I switch to my husband’s account to try to order more. It was cancelled immediately. I was not able to order any gift card using this second account.

Today, I became a little more greedy and I created a third account under my husband’s name on the app instead of using the laptop. I also tried to slightly vary our address like change “N” to “North” when fill out credit card information. And this time the orders went through! So today I got a total of four orders of 3 gift cards each. Yay! This is good enough for me.

Curious why you would choose the Best Buy deal per the gift cards (dot) com deal? Assuming you use the e-gift card to purchase the DGC? Since the gift cards (dot) com is a better deal I’m finding it harder to justify the Beat Buy deal? Just help convince me either way!

I don’t trust our post office. We always have mail and packages missing or delayed, especially because there is a neighbor with almost the same address as us with only two numbers in opposite order. Anything better than Target 5% is a good deal to me and I need these gift cards as soon as possible.

I just bought 3 of the BB $50 DGCs with no problem. Also got 4% back from Rakutan and used my Disney VISA for another 1%. I'm going to try again tomorrow morning and see if I can score 3 more (or will use DH's name and a different email... we have a big vacation coming up and I'd like to save as much as I can!).

I used Swagbucks for giftcards.com - it has 3% and tracked without issues. It usually turns into a little more than 3% if used on the right GC redemptions, so more like 3.3-3.5. That is on top of the deal and credit card amounts (I am working on a larger SUB, so used that card for the purchase.)

is it tracking for 4% on rakuten? It's "up to 4%" with different categories earning different percentages. Rakuten is notorious for not tracking gift cards, so curious to see if its working for BB.

Question for all of you DGC discount veterans:

Ignoring credit card bonuses, are there any decent DGC buying opportunities (i.e. sales) at any times of the year other than
November and December? Or do you pretty much have to plan on buying a year’s supply during this time period to fund your dues, passes/tickets and other Disney spending for the following year?

Thanks!
It’s a year round thing for me. I need dollars for dues the possibility of having to pay for four annual passes and food.

Luckily, we’re in the area where we have a Meijer who regularly gives 10% off or more throughout the year. It is not cash off but in the form of groceries or gas but works for our family.

I believe only certain BB purchases qualify and gift cards may not be one of them.

No Meijer in my area, but looks like a great store. I will have to see if there are any stores with similar programs locally.

Is anyone else having issues with Target not letting you use gift cards online if your order includes buying any Disney (or any other brand) gift cards? I bought the $500 worth of Target gift cards for 10% off. I was trying to fulfill the spend $120 4 times bonus, but if I do it online it won't let me pay for the merchandise portion of my order with my gift card. It is making the whole thing be paid with my Red card.
Thankfully my store is only 5 minutes down the road (and it works fine to use the gift card to pay the merchandise portion in store and only charge the Disney gift card to the Red card), so this isn't a huge problem, but I like to do curbside pick up to prevent myself from buying stupid stuff while walking around.
