Annie Leibovitz has done three new Disney Dream Potraits. The Evil Queen with Alec Baldwin as the magic mirror, Penelope Cruz as Belle and Queen Latifah as Ursula. I think I liked the first set better. Jeff Bridges is paired with Penelope Cruz as the Beast...interesting choice. Here is the link.

I like Queen Latifah the best.

What's weird is that I don't really like any of these. I mean, they are beautifully done, but I don't like using celebrities. I guess I'm odd.

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. The portrait is very pretty, but the selection of Cruz/Bridges is perplexing. They just seem to be old for the roles.

The Queen Latifah image is my favorite as well.

I like "Beauty and the Beast". It's just so classic!

Sayhello

I'll bet Belle hadn't a clue that once the Beast transformed back into a prince he'd resemble her grandfather. :confused3

Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen is awesome. She looks so evil... and hot at the same time.

I like both the evil queen and Ursula. The beauty and the beast one just looks wrong Jeff Bridges is too old to be the prince.

I don't like the Beauty and the Beast one either. Penelope Cruz just doesn't fit as Belle and I love Jeff Bridges, but neither does he. Love the other two though.

The background of the Beauty and the Beast one is my favorite thing about this set...

But, I don't know....

Ms. Leibovitz is obviously a brilliant photographer, it's just that in my opinion she's relying WAY too much on CGI as of late. I know she's fascinated with the technology, but sometimes less is more.

Something about the potraits, especially the Ursula one, was bugging me, but I couldn't put my finger on it, but I think this is it. Queen Latifah is a little lost in the CGI of the whole thing, I think it would be more interesting if it were a little more real. The Evil Queen picture is my favorite, probably because it is the least "done."
