Important Dates to Know

• BOOKING DATES: From January 2 to February 10, 2025, you can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 3-night, 3-day (at minimum) Walt Disney World vacation package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option.
• TRAVEL DATES: This offer is available for most arrival dates starting May 27 through June 26 and July 7 through August 6, 2025.

Yes. The option is there to upgrade.

If you can get a standard room at the AllStars for a family of four Disney adults and stick with the quick service, it’s still a good deal. But it’s definitely not a good deal for everyone.

It may be a better deal to skip the free dining and book a room discount if there are just a few of you in a room and you are interested in a moderate or deluxe resort.

Just priced it out for my dates (July 25 to August 3)

Free Dining comes out to 3690 with the upgrade to the regular DDP at Pop
Room discount plus Canadian ticket offer with DDP and park hooper is 3600

Before joining DVC, we rarely found the "free dining" to be beneficial for us. Frequently, the restaurants we wanted to dine at were not included. We also didn't need/want all the snacks included. For those that it works for, it's a great option, just didn't work for us.

It’s an extra $38.65 per adult, per day to upgrade.
