Its an awesome venue! It holds up to 175 ppl so its pretty big, but you can only do a buffet in it so I'm having action stations to take up the extra space...i will def find more pics for you if you're interested

That would be wonderful thank you so much...

Action stations? Im new at this... and a bit worried!!

Hi and welcome! Good to see another person here planning for a 2009 wedding. I will be having a vow renewal in June, hopefully the 29th, 2009. We are also planning on about 40-50 people.

The Atlantic Dance Hall is at the Boardwalk Resort.

Did you have any specific questions?

first of all dont be worried...you have plenty of time and disney will take care of everything! action stations are a way to enhance your buffet by having like a station where steak is carved fresh for your guests or sushi is fresly prepared with a chef right there doing these things.

here is a pic of the dance floor all lit up at atlantic dance

When did you book? And how hard was it to book? Like, did it end up being more of a hassle? I am in ny and am concerned.... not that i mind heading to florida lol.... but i am just worried!

would you mind me asking what your price range is? for the coctail hour etc? or do you have a budget for the weddign?

not to pirate: this thread..just to add on to this..

our Disney total is around $12000 - $13000. We're not having any transport and I'm using my own silk floral. That makes a huge difference. No dessert party here either. This is what we have with Disney:
  • 75 Guests
  • 1 Character
  • DJ for reception
  • Buffet w/ action stations
  • Cockatil hour
  • Cake
  • Minimal Decoration for Ceremony
  • MK Photo session

Things we're doing on our own:
  • Photographer (Randy Chapman)
  • Videographer (STVS)
  • Floral
  • Favors
  • Centerpieces
  • Programs/Invites
  • Ceremony Music (DF's Uncle)
  • Officiant (DF's other Uncle lol)
  • After-Party (Jelly-Rolls!!)
  • Hair/Makeup for 6 girls by Beaute Special

Our TOTAL w/ Disney comes to about $20,000 :) Hope this helps you too!

Welcome and Congrats!!

We have a total of 46 guests (36 adults, 6 children (3-9) and 4 babies (2 and under- they are free)).
We are having our ceremony at Sea Breeze Point (at the Boardwalk Inn Resort), the dinner reception at The Attic (also at the BWI Resort right next to the Atlantic Dance Hall) and then an Illuminations Dessert Party at Epcot Upper UK Terrace.

We are trying to stay as close to the $10,000 minimum as possible, without going too far over. So far so good. We do have an outside photographer that is not included in the $10,000.

Feel free to ask lots of questions. Everyone is really helpful here. Have you spoken to anyone at Disney yet?

Here are some pics...
