Standard rooms at Beach club already old out for the lat week of August, had to switch to the Yacht club... I can totally justify walking an extra 200 feet to buy our lunch every day! (that said- there is now a AAA discount room at BC available the last week of August)

I agree with you... the 200 extra feet is definitely worth the savings!!! I'll be on the club level at the Beach Club, last week in August.
For my family of three the room discount is a greater savings than free dining and we also purchased tickets through the YES program and with staying on the club level food costs are lower too.

I just booked the poly garden view for 4 nights 8-15 to 8-19 weeknights are $332, weekends are $360. I needed 8-14 and it prices at 466.88, Sun 8-20 is $324. HTH

Hi: Tried to book this discount Sept 27th to Oct 5th, but I am only discounted until the Sept 29th, anything after that is rack rate. In the past if you started your vacation before the cut off date the deal continued into the next month, I just chatted with a disney rep and they say that they changed this in 2010. Too bad,

I already have the free dining and its funny it continues for my whole vacation, not sure why this one does not, same dates everything. I will stick with the free dining discount.

Deb.

we arrive sept 30th (no we can't change our dates) and this is KILLING me!!!
really, really hoping that july/august brings a little pixie dust my way!

Hi Saffsmom: That is too bad. There is also the free dining special I think it is up to sept 29th but it should continue for the rest of your week.

Deb from Hamilton.
(We are very upset about the hospital, slots and everything McGinty is doing to your town)

Yeah! We justed saved a bundle with the discount for our three rooms at the Yacht Club:cool1: Thank you, Disney! Great timing :)

DH has an exam on sept 29th...no changing it!
oh well! i planned for, budgeted, and booked this trip at the price i currently have (and can have it paid in full long beofre we go)
it's just torture to miss out on savings!!!!

The room only deals are day specific just like your cost per room per night can vary because you are bookes by the day not as a "vacation"...they did change that a while ago...kinda stinks for us but it does make sense.

The free dining is a package deal becasue it is booked all together with room/tickets/dining and would be a nightmare logistically to seperate into days. And imagine the confusion on the part of the customer when they think they are booking a package for their week long vacation and only the first 2 nights are with a special free dining promorion but the other 5 are rack rates and if you want the dining plan you mucst now pay for it...etc...more trouble than it's worth I'd imagine.

Don't know if I helped clear that up or just made it worse but there is logic in there somewhere... :rotfl:

No matter what I do everytime I try to price a room it keeps giving me a package price :confused3 Isn't this a room only discount? I don't want a package, just a room for 2 nights 8/23-8/25.

Just remove the tickets and click on update. It will give you the room only price without tickets.

I tried that but it still leaves the one day ticket and dining plan.

Just booked the Yacht Club at 30% off. Very Happy!!

We have only ever stayed off-site but we only have a few days in Orlando this vacation ( as part of a longer road-trip) so I thought we would treat ourselves to a Deluxe resort just this once :)

Still no discount for French Quarter. :(

You are right POFQ is not included again. Seems to be happening alot this year. Either POFQ is not included at all or their discount is less than the other moderates. PORS is included but the discount there is only 20% compared to 25% at the other moderates, plus they don't have any standard rooms available, only garden view and up. I currently have POFQ booked for Sept 1st-8th under a bounceback I booked when I was there last Dec, but was hoping for a better discount. Looks like I may be keeping what I've got, however I'm still holding onto hope that an AP discount might come out to beat the bounceback. It didn't for my May trip though--the AP discount was exactly the same as the bounceback I already had (and it didn't include POFQ for that trip either).

I currently have a standard room POFQ for $927.69 with the bounce back.

With this new code POFQ is not even available and rack rate looks like it is $1259.00. At PORS a standard room is not available and a garden room is $1123.00 A standard room at CSR is $1024 and a standard room at CBR is $994.00. The bounceback beat it.:headache: Hopefully AP discounts will be out soon.

I remember when as an AP holder I could get the Deluxes for 49% off. I know one year I got a courtyard view at WL and a Savana view at AKL both for $149.00/night. Looks like those days are loooong gone.:rotfl::(

Splitting trip between Bay Lake and Poly. Looks like the Poly discount was added successfully, but Bay Lake is only 5.2%?

I'm assuming that the Deluxe Villas @ Deluxe Resorts (i.e. Bay Lake @ Contemporary) fall under their respective Deluxe Resorts? Not sure why the discount wouldn't be 20% for Bay Lake.

Desnik, you need to click on room only on the page where you put your dates in. Otherwise it will show you package pricing.
