New Dis member and DVC owner

Hi all,

I was lurking this morning reading posts about the DVC...we were in Disney end of July and stayed at the Boardwalk, awesome...

We bought into DVC at the Boardwalk...thanks soooo much to the nice men in the pool who were there for "Member days"

I was so excited to hear they had a few alottments available at the Boardwalk, as we loved its loation, so close to Epcot and MGM...the views across the lake of the Y&B clubs is sooo nice. The bakery...yum! Okay..I will stop now...I am just so excited!

You will find we all love both.

I know that some of the intermural squables here took a tough toll on me when I was new to both the DVC and the DIS. If you experiance that don't let it discorage you. We carp and gripe about silly stuff, room size, walk from the car, being in or out of the action etc.

All the noise aside there is no place we would rather be than DVC (any resort is better than not being there at all!) and when we can't be there we do the DIS.

Nice men in the pool? Have I overlooked an amenity? Maybe I will have to check out these member days!

Welcome home! We fell in love with the boardwalk on our first stay also, so I know what you mean about the place. We love it more every time we visit!
