No information has been released yet about any details of the DVC program. A few have reported that MS mentioned pricing ($37.99 per day for adults), but no mention of any other options.
You might check the information thread on the Restaurants Board with information about the full program available thru CRO. The DVC program may not be exactly the same though, so it may be best to wait until MS begins accepting reservations for this program on January 3, 2006 before making any definite plans for DVC reservations.
So far it only sounds like the basic dining plan will be available. The premium plan includes more than dining and really isn't advertised as a separate component the way "Magic Your Way" or "Magic Your Way plus dining" is.
I couldn't find the pricing for adding the Premium or Platinum plans to a package on the Disney site. (And the site was "busy" when I tried to add it to a package.) Anyone else find it? It used to be listed and easy to find. Maybe some changes are underway?
I'd sort of bet DVC is going to be limited to the "basic" plan. As DebbieB mentioned, the Premium and Platinum plans contain a whole bunch of other stuff (tours, sports, viewing, spas) besides dining, which could complicate things. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
As far as the dining component is concerned, the Premium plan includes 3 meals a day. The Platinum includes 3 meals, a snack and includes room service meals. The Disney site has the particulars. Just search on "dining plans".
They don't advertise the price for the premium and platnium plans as an "add on". They sell it as part of the entire package price, which leads me to believe they will not sell it separately.
