New digital camera + eBay = addiction!

My brother gave me a digital camera for Christmas (a very unexpected Christmas present!). I have been a semi-regular buyer/seller on eBay the last few years, but without the digital camera, I haven't been as active as I know I could be.

In the meantime, I've accumulated quite the "garage sale pile" in my attic. I just started listing some of the stuff (so far only 3 items ), but it's getting addictive! I sure hope all these listing fees I'm paying are worth it.

Deb, What digital camera did you get? I just ordered the Olympus 720 and can hardly wait to get it! Don't you just love E Bay?

I've wanted to sell some stuff on E-bay myself but don't have the digital camera. Let me know how it goes! Whether or not the time invested is worthwhile. Sometimes I see people selling stuff on there for $2 to $10 and I think, how in the heck can that be worth the trouble?!

I have 4 items listed on eBay, one for $0.99 and three for $1.99, and so far only one has a bid on it (a Mickey-shaped CD holder). They're all listed for 7 days, so we'll see how it goes once these auctions end!

I listed two items on just before New Years when they were offering free listings, one has two bids and one has none. I've looked at my counters and there just isn't as many people looking, not sure if it is the item itself or the time of year. Good luck with your listings and have fun with your digital camera.

Don't worry too much, tiggerlover - I've seen some items go without bids until the last minute, then, suddenly, everyone is bidding on it. EBay is a strange place!
