New Deal -- What About Those Of Us Who Stay More Than 7 Nights?

We usually stay more than 7 nights -- more like 10 nights so how can this new promotion help us when it most likely would mean we would take a shorter trip than normal. I don't want to have to pay rack rate for the remaining rooms. Do you think other deals will be available -- i.e. room only or AP rate? Do I wait or book the 4/3 deal and then change it if something else comes up?

I was thinking the same thing, we want to do 10 days this year also, we wont' travel until Sept so I am going to wait and see what happens. Last time I had %40 rack rate for the entire trip, that would be what I need for this trip.

I am staying 9 nights/10 days in January, at CSR (2 adults, 1 junior) under the 4/3 promotion. I know I can easily go online and figure out exactly how much the two extra nights are costing me, but I haven't. I will tell you that the trip at rack rate would have cost $2409.84 and we are paying $1678.33 (with the $200 gift card), so a savings of $731.51 and a 30% savings on the package. I think that is a good deal!

Well, as others have pointed out you get: 1 free night on a 5 day stay, 2 free nights on a 6 day stay, and 3 free nights on a 7-10 day stay. You also get the $200 gift card at check-in if traveling prior to 3/29. We aren’t.

I booked the 8 nights with 3 free and one day base tickets. I’m waiting to see if another deal, a better deal like an AP rate comes out. I’m not forced into keeping this one, but if nothing else comes along, at least I have it. We usually stay 10 days each year, but I, too didn’t find it such a good deal when booking 10 nights with 7 at rack rate. However, in addition to family vacation at WDW, DH and I decided to do an adults only trip to so *DH and I* won’t miss the extra 2 days. I think the kids will be OK with it too.

We are using the 4/3 for our 9 night stay and ended up saving about $1,000 compared to our AAA room only discount.

We're going for 10 nights, but the max nights for the discount is 10. They let us change our ressie to 10 nights and book a room only at the end. It ended up saving us $1400...
