So the itineraries for the rest of next year were released & they include 2 x 10night one way Hawaii sailings! plus extra USA West Coast & Galveston sailings, which is great as they are closer to get too.

Anyone inspired for Hawaii??? I have been waiting for this sailing to return!

I saw that the release of the Fall Itineraries and thought it was great that Disney was returning to the west coast.
While I'd love to do a Hawaii cruise, there are a couple of things that put me off.

As far as I'm aware, there is still no definite date for the Wonder refurb. I'd prefer to cruise on her after she's been done up. Also, I do wish that Hawaii cruises didn't involve one way costly flights to mainland Canada. This works for Americans, but not so much for those of us Down-under.

My long-term dream is to do a one way cruise from Hawaii to Sydney (via French Polynesia. The 2015 Celebrity Solstice trans-pacific sold out in record time.

I think the Wonder refurb is possibly slated for fall 2016, so it won't be done for the 2015 dates. I wouldn't mind a few days in Aulani, cruise back to Vancouver and then head down to the US from there for a bit of time. I like the idea of back to back with Vancouver to San Diego but not sure if I could really cope with all those sea days.

Agree
We desperately want to go cruise Sydney / French Polynesia,/ Hawaii.
Let's get a petition going...who knows Disney might be surprised by how interested people are...and they offer it.

I was really hoping they would have a Hawaiian island then direct to LA, wishful thinking! I would prefer to go on the Magic since it has been refurbished or one of the newer ships though, otherwise I still may have been tempted.

The Magic is too big for the Panama Canal after it's refurb, which is why they haven't done the same to the Wonder yet. I think they're upgrading the canal so eventually the Magic may fit through. Not 100% sure on that though.

It sure would be nice, would be better if it was leaving from LA or better yet leaving from Sydney.

Finally the itineraries we have been waiting for have come out & the other two couples traveling with us booked today & we are beyond excited :cool1:
Honolulu to Vancouver, then Vancouver to San Diego

We aren't gold members yet so have to wait to tonight to book ..... so i'm sitting here all day waiting patiently for 8am to roll around so we can book....

One of the other families jumped on a FB page to share her excitement and now all these people are saying they shouldn't have been allowed to book the b2b as it violates the PVSA regulations!

Are you serious?? excitement no more :worried: surely DCL won't let you book if it breaches laws? several Disney CM's said it was fine but these guys are adamant! NO WAY will you be allowed to do it & at some point we will be made to choose one cruise or the other! Apparently it has happened before in 2012 when 2 months before sailing everyone had to choose one or the other!

I can't believe it, I guess all we can do is try & book it and see what happens

Must admit I am a little tempted to squeeze one of those in on our next year LA/Hawaii trip - around how much would I be looking at for those cruises for a family of 4 of you don't mind me asking?

It always is pretty pricy as they know it will sell out so the prices will only go up from here too!

That's not too bad considering its all inclusive. Its just a shame they arn't stopping at San Fransisco, never been and its on my to do list. I noticed they have a 2 day ocean cruise from San Diego, I might look into this just to experience the ship :-)

Sigh. I so wish. The two vacation ideas we were throwing around for 2015 were Hawaii and Vancouver. So.... this would be PERFECT! But since they are in September my daughter would have to miss too much school (she'll be in 8th grade). I guess I'll have to keep dreaming. :/

They are correct we couldn't do it in 2012 DCL wanted us to wait until they had completed the May one in reverse to see if they would get fined we couldn't wait that long as we were leaving in July I spoke to DCL myself about it several times before we decided we couldn't change our trip that close to leaving it turned out everyone who had the b2b had to pick one cruise it's a crazy law but it's there.
