Limited Edition. The number next to that says how limited. IE: LE 500 means only 500 pins were made.

Duh, Why I did not figure that out, must of been a blonde moment.

Just returned from WDW this past weekend, and I have my first Disney Pins. Only 8 but very excited. I have the MGM Goofy 4th of July. 2 USA 2004 Olympic one of Mickey with the torch and one of Stitch with the Laurel on his head. One of Mickey shaking hands with a fireman. (I luv this as I believe this was a tribute to 911). Those were my special pins. The others are the Partners pin of Walt & Mickey in front of the castle, Muppet - Vision 3D with Piggy, Fozzie, and Kermit. The Aristocats 1970 pin with the whole cat family including Thomas O'Malley, and finally a Stitch pin with a flying saucer on it.

Not a very large collection, but I luv them.

How does one get pins that can be used for trading? I mean if I was going to pay full price for a pin, it would be for ones I intend on keeping. ::yes::

Poochie -

Welcome to the wonderful world of pin collecting and trading!

You can get pins for trading by buying lots, or groups, on ebay. Do a search for Disney pins, lots. Don't pay over $3 or so for each pin in the lot. When I buy a lot, I usually buy one with at least one pin I want to keep.

I recommend the website www.pinpics.com. You can find pics of pins and you can find ones you want to collect. You can set up a list of what you have and what you would like to get. Once you get some traders, you can send out requests to trade them.

Probably something like an auction for less-than-cost pins. I find them once in a while at flea markets and yard sales. I don't know of any online sites that sell them cheap any longer, unless cheap pins still has a few.
