We will have our first cruise on the Wish next month. As I have no cruising status with Disney, I will be unable to get a cabana for me and my wife.

With that being said, are beach chairs and umbrellas available? If so, how do I reserve these as I cannot locate the process?

TIA

There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas at least on the family beaches. No reservations required. Serenity Bay tends to fill up, but there usually are open chairs at the far end.

There were tons of open chairs at the snorkeling lagoon last June, there should be plenty elsewhere too. No need to have a cabana to enjoy Castaway!

Having a cabana is never based on status anymore, especially on Wish. They are offered priority and systematically snagged by Concierge guests, regardless of Castaway Club status.

There is no reservation system for beach chairs and umbrellas as they are plentiful. You simply pick what you need. Don’t hesitate to go to the second stop on the tram (or walk to the second beach) if you get off the ship a bit late. A lot of guests rush to the first beach and it may seem crowded while there are still plenty of empty spots at the second beach.

Do I need to pay for the chairs and umbrellas prior to the cruise?

No charge for chairs and umbrellas. And you can grab free towels as you leave the ship and return them to any of the used towel bins.

Most of the stuff on Castaway is included in your cruise fare, no extra charge except for renting snorkel equipment, float rentals, bike rentals, cabanas, other excursions, alcoholic drinks or smoothies.

All the food and regular beverage station drinks are included, towels are included, any chairs/hammocks/umbrellas, etc. It's a really nice day there without feeling nickel and dimed!

As previous posters have said, all the chairs and umbrellas are included. DH and I have never had trouble finding a comfortable spot, but we're not picky and don't lounge around for too long. We tend to move around a lot at Castaway and find different spots for bits of time, so we're not worried about being "up front" or anything. If you want to head to a specific location and/or make sure you get a particular spot, you may want to head off the ship as early as possible. Since it'll be your first time there, I suggest wandering a bit and exploring the different options.
We've also rented the bikes several times, which was a great way to explore. The bike path goes out to a fun lookout and you can also ride down the runway to Serenity Bay and on a path back behind those cabanas to another area by the water to look out. It was fun!
