New couches in staterooms after dry dock - Fantasy

Recently off the Fantasy and noticed the couch/bed in the room was looking a bit rough. Can anyone advise if these were replaced in the rooms when the Dream had their dry dock? I’m just hoping there are plans to replace them as it definately was looking worn! As much as I love the boat, it’s likely time to replace them as it couches. Would love to hear what anyone knows on this…. Thanks.

Just off the Dream Monday and the couch looked the same to me. Not new.

Dream did not get new couches. New carpet (same pattern). New beds. New TV, but still small. I understand about the couch fabric but I once took a Carnival cruise and the couch was vinyl which was really uncomfortable.

We’ve been in cabins on the fantasy where the couch was replaced - looked very similar, but not the normal one. Maybe they just replace them on an as needed basis.

Interesting! So it was a whole new couch - that turned into a bed by flipping the back down? Must be custom made. The fabric probably gets a lot of “use”!

Yes. Whole new couch that turned into a bed - just like the normal blue/gold ones. You could tell this one was new because the shape was a little different and the fabric was different. Also wasn’t as comfortable.
