new codes for end of Jan out yet?

Does anyone know when/if discount codes for end of Jan will come out? I have some friends who are trying to plan a trip and I haven't found anything about codes online yet.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

The only discounts that are out right now for the value season of Jan 1st through Feb 12th 2003 are DC Discounts, AAA Discounts (both of these about 20% off of rack rate) and AP room only discounts (40% off of rack rate). Code for the general public have not been released yet.

Everyone should keep in mind that general public discount codes are only used to fill rooms that Disney does not think it can fill at rack rate, DC, AP or AAA rate.

There is also a "canadian" code out now thru march. I would tell your friends to book with an AP rate and then see if general codes come out. Last year on a 6 night stay it was cheaper for us to use an AP rate then the General rate code by 18.00.

Thanks for the help...they are only planning on staying three nights and aren't AP holders so we weren't sure if it would be worth it for them to buy an AP or if it would be cheaper to just pay the extra on the room.

I did tell them to go ahead and make a reservation so at least they have a room, I'll just keep hoping and checking mousesavers.com!

I just read over on the PassPorter.com message boards that general public codes for Jan 1st through Feb 12th should be realeased soon. Example of rates stated $85 for the moderates standard view room. This is $6 more then the AP rate for moderates standard view room which is $79. No rates were noted for value or deluxe resorts.

Will there be anything left when they do release codes to the GP. We get our rooms with a CM discount, or an AP discount. Well I've tried to get into the WL or AKL and no luck on either for the end of January-beginning of February. There are no rooms left with either of our discounts for standard rooms. Only Savana view. We had no problem getting into Dixie landing, but that's probably because of the main pool being closed. I think alot of us got spoiled last year because attendance was so low, WDW was going to extremes to fill the rooms. I think things are different this year, especially since they extended the 100 years of magic until Feb. 28th. Good luck and don't wait too long to book

I sure hope they release discounts to the general public! I changed my ressies from DCL to CRO ($203 more for same ressies because CRO charges tax on UPH tickets) so that I can get a discount when the codes come out. I have standard view at CBR reserved. I would kinda like Savannah view at AKL if rates are good.

I didn't know 100 years of magic has been extended to 2/28. What special things happen for the celebration?

They are very late releasing codes this year. It is frustrating to many of us waiting patiently. Hopefully they will release them soon!

The AKL savanna view rooms are going for $154 plus tax with the AP rate. The general public rate is usually a little higher $164 or $169 a night plus tax. Still a great rate for a savanna view though.
