New Chase Visa Star Wars cards and Meet N Greet experience!

I haven't heard anything concrete, but if I had to guess I would think it starts when Star Wars Launch Bay debuts on 10/11 (haven't heard if that's the official opening date or not, but that was the date everyone talked about). Holding it in the SWLB would make the most sense.
I had a feeling that would be it, but was hoping for earlier. :-) It does make sense for it all to start at the same time though...

I got the Vader card for DH. I'm much more amused by it than he is. My card has the older castle design from right before the 60th one came out. M&G will be a great new addition!

Awesome. We're going in November, so hopefully it'll be up by then. Just ordered my Darth Vader card as well!

I just noticed they now have times listed for the Star Wars meet and greet on the Disney Visa perks page.

In case anyone is wondering, the original meet and greet in DCA is still listed as well.

We are here now. The visa meet and greet is at 4pm to 8pm fr the star war characters. The visa members have own line from what I have been told. If you wanna see the characters go in after noon. We went in later afternoon at 130 pm and had 15 minute for chew baca and 15 minute 15 wait for darth. The rooms are side by side. If you go to one and get out and line is short hop into next line.. Thank for the update- this was the regular line not the visa right? Good to hear it died down today!! I noticed the ride lines were long but par for the course for those rides- at least per the wait times. Was it mellow today for all the new rides and food too?

It was mellow today.yes that was for the regular line. I think workers are telling you wrong times to discourage you meeting characters. This morning they had you outside lining up to meet the characters, with 90 minute wait. You can still go into the building and see the Star Wars stuff. But sign said 60 minute wait and it didn't look like 60 minute wait. Or the cast members don't know what's going on. We went inside expecting the long wait to see one character, but got out of one then next line and the cast member there didn't say nothing compared to cast members thus morning Afternoon is better over there. Just get fastpass early for hyperspace mountain or star tours. At 10:30 am star tour fast pass time was 1:25 to 2:25 pm if you got one then, but stand-by at 10:30 am was 40 minute wait for star tours. Don't know about hyperspace. Lines were short later for the new popcorn bucket which looks like the new tie fighter from the new movie and the bb8 droid sipper cup. The cup is around $15 and the popcorn bucket is $19.50 plus tax

I did the Vader Visa greet and it is strictly Disney Visa Credit Cards (not debit) and a limit of 6 people per card. It is a separate location from the other two greets and last night around 630 and it was about a 20 minute wait only. I was intending to stay for the AP event but wasn't feeling well and tried to get my picture before leaving but they hadn't uploaded yet so we were able to select a different picture.

Thanks for the update! If we have a party of 8 and 2 cards can we all take the picture together or do we have to do it in 2 groups?

How is it strictly credit card? I got emails and flyers all about it and its for debit and credit cards.

Are you sure it was for the debit card? I have one of each, Disney debit and credit card, but all the star wars advertisements that were mailed and e-mailed to me I interpreted as being about Star Wars designs and perks only for the credit card. If you look at the list of in-park perks for the credit card, both the DCA regular meet and greet and DL Star Wars meet and greet are listed as perks. If you look at the list for the debit card, only the DCA regular meet and greet is listed as a perk.

That is not what i was led to believe and I do only have the debit card and could have got the star wars card but chose not too.

Any one with debit card go there yet?

I was really disappointed that the visa mng was for Darth Vader since you could see him across the floor. We couldnt even redeem our free 5x7 unless we wanted to wait FOREVER at the photo center.

We visited Chewy and Vader in the normal line, we were done with both in about 25 minutes (posted wait time was 20 for chewy & 35 for vader, this was shotly after 4 on tuesday). Then we did the Disney visa line thinking it would have something different/better, but it was the same backdrop. Similar wait time too.

@JadeDarkstar We were also told in line that it was for the credit customers only and not debit.

@ilovelucydog any design is fine.

I heard them turn away debit cards both yesterday and today. Wait times today were again around 20 minutes and while there isn't anything different about the location you do get a free print. Yesterday and today it probably took about 20 minutes at the photo center, for the wait, selection, print and pick up. They say it can take and hour to 1.5 hours for the photos to upload and yesterday they hadn't at 1.5 hrs but they let us select a non visa photo. Today our pictures showed up within 45 minutes

That is what they have for Vader and chewie. He does look darker then the movie one
