New Character Warehouse coming to northern CA

Just got a postcard from AMS. A new Disney Character Warehouse will be opening this Friday (11/12) in Woodland, CA.

The only thing is in smaller print it says "And Universal Studios Merchandise." In the past I've seen where they close the Disney Warehouse, then re-open as Universal, but I've not seen them combined like this.

Guess I'll be heading north on Saturday since the National Treasure screening got changed.

They sell Disneyland and Disneyworld park merchandise from 20-80% off. I've gotten some great deals over the years when they've had store in Vacaville and Milpitas.

Examples include:
Adult Princess jacket, parka style - park price tag = $78, my cost = $30
Boys Buzz Lightyear jacket - park price = $48, my cost $7
Trading Pins - park price $10.95, my cost = $4.50
Various teeshirts - park price $18-21, my cost $3.85 - 7.50

Most of the time its last year's merchandise, but this summer the store in Milpitas had items that I had seen in the park in June and was able to buy for a discount at the warehouse in July.

We have those "roving" disney outlets here on the east coast too. They are a private company that buys bulks of disney merchandise (I think they bid on it) and sell it. They are not Disney run, nor are their employees CM. When they come to our area they can not set up shop anywhere within a certain distance to a true Disney Outlet (one that is own and operated by Disney and have Disney CMs). Sounds like you guys will get your Disney fix at a decent price. Have fun.
