Huh? You wouldn't get traction control on FWD car? Why not?

I haven't had a new car since...... the 90's..

I love my suburban.. its a 97 leather seats.. I wished it had the heated seats.

I wished it also had a DVD or TV.

The DVD player in the van is great..it has cordless headphones too so we can listen to the radio while they are watching a movie...:D

Always have to have automatic and the delay wipers & air....rarely use cruise control..:D

HMmmmmmmmm my car has traction control and I love it...

The two I would not want to be without are heated seats and I think its called keyless entry (there is a keypad outside drivers door). I used to be famous for locking keys in the car but since my last 4 cars have had this feature no more problem.

The Mountain that we live on does not allow for traction control to work, as you know if you have traction control, you can not "spin" the tires...A lot of times coming up in a snow storm, or ice storm, you MUST "beat the heck" outta the car to get up...we did have 1 cadillac STS that had it, and DH didn't make it 1/3 of the time. (nothing to do with his driving, he drove truck for 20 years) Once we got another STS without it, he was fine. Traction control that you can shut off easily is cool, however the cadi's have it in their glove box- kind of outta the way... My front wheel drive Grand Am has 4 studded Nokian Hakkapaletta tires on it, never had a problem even with the 3 foot snow storm last month, and the ice storms recently.

Can't tell you how many new minivans are sitting 1/2 way up the hill during a snow storm because the driver cant spin the tires to continue up the hill....all those have traction control.

ABS and side air bags, if available. Both pretty boring, never even know they are there, until you need them, but, if you need them, either or both may save your life.

That seems odd. Usually spinning the tires gets you nowwhere.

I have the 1999 Honda Odyssey with traction control. It also has a button on the dash that lets you turn it off in cases when spinning is needed. I thought most newer vehicles with traction control also has a switch to turn it off when necessary.

I've got to have a stick shift, and I've gotta have cruise. I also like the keyless remote. My truck has a 6 CD changer so I guess my next vehicle would have to have that too.

For myself, heated seats. I am always cold and my dh always warm. We could never agree on car temp. This helps .
Definately the DVD for the kids.

I miss the outside temp gauge. I will be in the car for several hours and the temps will drop and its nice to see when that happens. I thought it was stupid until I didn't have it anymore!!

ABS
