new blog: We Visited All 6 Disney Parks in One Day!

TOTALLY AWESOME! Congrats. The white board with the times is great, looks like you guys had a blast other than Mr. Toad's

That was great Tony! I got nervous toward the end. You could have jumped on Snow White in a pinch. Or Casey Jr. I would gather StoryBookland may have had too long a line.

fantastic!!!!!

let's see - i wonder if you could do tokyo DL/DS and california DL/DCA in one day...
you go to tokyo DL/DS, then head for the airport and fly to LA....
you relive the day when you cross the international dateline.....so i think you might be able to do it....i'd have to check the schedules to see when you arrive in LA..

i looked it up and you could do it..

for example - you go to tokyo DL and DS, then head for the airport..

you take the singapore air flight from tokyo non-stop to LAX at 7:15 PM which arrives on the same day at 1:30 PM (in other words, you've gone backwards in time)...

then you head to DL and DCA.....plenty of time to do whatever you want...

but what about doing Disneyland Paris, then WDW, the DL California in one day?!

:)

Shoulda thought about that for our honeymoon back in March. lol!

Inspired by Tony's challenge:
1. If you had a limited time in each park, what ride would you choose? It would have to be a relatively low-demand ride with short wait times; you couldn’t assume to be at the park right at gate opening.
2. If time isn’t a factor, what is the “must-ride” for each park?
3. What would be the “must-eat” snack in each park?

My choices:
Magic Kingdom
1. Haunted Mansion
2. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
3. Dole pineapple whip in Adventureland

Hollywood Studios
1. Muppets 3D movie
2. Toy Story Mania
3. Carrot cake cookie at Writer’s Stop

Animal Kingdom
1. Kiliminjaro Safari or take the train up to Conservation Station
2. Expedition Everest
3. Warm candied pecans in the market area by Kiliminjaro Safari

Epcot
1. Figment (or Ellen’s Energy Adventure if I needed a nap)
2. Soarin’
3. Anything from the bakery in France

Disneyland (only guessing since we’ve never been)
1. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (closest to the old 20,000 leagues under the sea ride from MK)
2. Matterhorn
3. (cheating) Dole pineapple whip at the Tiki Juice Bar

California Adventure (only guessing since we’ve never been)
1. Monsters Inc.
2. Radiator Springs Racers
3. Popcorn in a cone at Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land

it can't be done in one calendar day...
the reason you can do japan and california in the same day is because of the international dateline that throws you back in time by a full day when you cross it......very freakish if you've ever done it....
you leave japan on tuesday night and arrive in hawaii on tuesday morning (going back in time)...you get to live the same day twice......jet lag like you've never experienced it!!!

Right...I know about that (I've traveled to Shanghai before).

Looking up flights on Kayak and Orbitz it seems it would be nearly impossible even to do it within a 24hr period. Simply no non-stops from CDG into MCO.
