Great article!
I only stayed once as well. It was our very first trip to WDW and we were in what is now the Tahiti building (then Moorea). Ironically, this is planned to be the DVC building- so I guess if I stay again, it will be in the same building as in 1993!!

Also, several years ago I picked up a bedspread on mouse surplus that was reportedly from the Poly. It was right there in the article!! The late 80's photo of the 2 beds with the green and coral spreads. I am sitting next to the bed with that spread on right now as I type!! Cool!!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane- and the look toward the future.
