new blog: The Good and Bad of "Toy Story of TERROR!" on Blu-ray

Toy Story of TERROR! is the first of two Pixar holiday specials reuniting everyone’s favorite toys and when it aired last October, it was seen as a success. Now that Halloween is quickly approaching, Disney is looking to cash in on those who didn’t take the time to DVR the half-hour special with a Blu-ray and DVD release. The movie itself only lasts 21 minutes and 30 seconds, so is there enough on this release to make it worthwhile?

I missed it when it aired and was really glad it got released - the animation looks so good on blu-ray even for TV special. I'm happy with the purchase and got it for about $14

I understand the "necessity" of the DVD. It's not all that complicated. A collection of Toy Story shorts all on one disc will make for many a happy parent, when s/he doesn't have to remember which feature had which short on the DVD and s/he doesn't have to keep changing discs.
