Yippee!! It’s the time of year that many Disney fans look forward to. The 18th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival opened today, September 27, 2013 at Walt Disney World. The event runs through November 11, 2013 so you have plenty of chances to enjoy the food and wine offerings in the park.

Funny thing in the blog is Kathy mentioning the cranberry bog to learn about how they are grown and harvested. We drove past a bunch of bogs on our way to the airport on Tuesday. A couple of them had started harvesting (dry picking) but most will be a bit later in the season. The wet picking harvest is a spectacular event, color wise. Picture beautiful blue skies, multi-colored autumn leaves all reflected on the surface of a flooded bog with a huge coral of brilliant red cranberries.
