This looks awesome! Really stinks though that our vacation was over 5 days before it opened! Ah well, just all the more reason to make sure we get there again next year!

In looking at this, personally, I think our daughter would enjoy it even more than the princess makeover. Considering our son is barely a year, I'm guessing he'll have to wait a few to enjoy it though! (All the more reason to make sure we get back EVERY year for at least the next 10)

Anway, thanks for the blog on this. As someone else asked, any pricing info available?

Kathy, Where exactly is The Pirate's League in relation to the ride and the gift shop? Did they use up some of the shop or was it empty space? Just curious.

It was a storage area not being used. It is to the right of the entrance. It's sort of in the middle because you can come out of the gift shop on the right.

Thanks for the Blog Kathy - and the segment on the podcast.

Connor's experience was great. He stayed in character the entire rest of the day. His mom figured out that the costume alone accounted for over 1/2 the price of the session. So this is actually a pretty good deal.

I was surprised on the podcast to hear that Stella's experience was ~$100, while we paid $125 for Connor. I'm wondering if there is some sort of special "upgrade" pricing that makes it actually cheaper than reserving the "big package" ahead of time.

There were lots of adults getting "done" at the pirate league as well. I'm suspecting the two of you would make a great pair of pirates to guide us on DATW.

Great Blog Kathy! It looks like so much fun. After listening to the segment, I think this is something that Jennie (DD14) is going to do in August. It sounds awesome!

Wonder if my then 10 year old son might be up for it next June? He's at a funny stage in life where he's in between "young" stuff and "teen" stuff and sure lets me know when I ask him to do something he considers too young. Makes me want to cry. I want my baby back.
